A Killer (Re)Read - The Throne of Glass Series Readalong discussion

If this is your second (or third or fourth or millionth) re-read of Throne of Glass, what are you looking forward to experiencing again? I know that I'm excited to re-read any and every mention of Sam!

(Note: Spoilers about any of the PUBLISHED books in the series are okay in this thread. If you have read an early ARC of HEIR OF FIRE, you are very lucky! Please be considerate of your fellow readers and avoid any HEIR OF FIRE spoilers.)

I'm looking forward to see the boys for the first time again! :) Are y'all team Dorian or Chaol?

Really? I'm Dorian. I'm irritated with Chaol after Crown of Midnight, but I love both. :)

Dorian has grown on me, but I'm also team Chaol :)

Yeah I like the magic aspect about him it makes it more interesting to see how he'll develop from here

I feel like every king I read about makes me mad and reminds me of Uther from Merlin (Uther is annoyingg). Like Maxon's dad from the Selection and Dorian's dad from ToG...

Omg I thought that too about Maxon's dad (the king in the selection series). Maybe the king from ToG will face the same fate as Maxon's dad mwahaha ;).

Wow! I thought I was the only one who felt this way. Why are so many of these kings like Uther?!

I was watching Christine Riccios review for crown of midnight, and yes it's all about Chaol but I feel as though it's going to be Dorian who she chooses.

Hmm... I think it may be neither! If you look on her pinterest page she has some inspiration on other characters that she is going to introduce and one of the characters is a male that may mix things up!

I love the relationship she has with Chaol but I really want her to end up or at least have some fun with Dorian. Think of that royal wedding! Phwoar!

I think you're right! Because then if Celaena and Dorian married, it would not only be for love, it could also be political. They could form an alliance between Terassen and Adarlan.

And I'm also Team Dorian. :)

But how is this going to work out? Celaena will be all the way over in Wendlyn dispatching the royal family. So . . . Do you think she's just going to get some time off from the boys?

I'm looking forward to seeing what Celaena can do with her fey magic.. I can't wait to meet the new characters and out of all the people I'm most curious in how Kaltain role will play out.. I feel like she is going to have a bigger role in all of this than we expected..

I have a feeling both guys will have other adventures for a while. With three more books, I'm guessing their road back to all being together will be long and rough.

As I'm re-reading, I'm finding myself way more interested in Dorian than I was the first time around. I really took him at face value back then and now, knowing what happens in Crown, I feel like there's more to him.

Read this series so much , love the assassin 's blade too! Will admit I have read HoF loved it, it is well worth the wait ! So excited to get my proper hardcover edition to add to my collection . Will say if anyone is very very crazy about this series ( like me ) you will be in love with Rowan and Aedion! Also love Manon and Abraxos :D also you will read it in a matter of hours and then need book 4 ;) ..

SAM!!!! Honestly every time I think of this series I think of my Sam Cortland, which makes me sob like there's no tomorrow!!! :( I miss you Sam

Ok but if everyone falls in love with other people I will cry. This series is fantastic because I have no idea who she'll end up,with and it's KILLING ME but I'm pulling for Chaol. Like what will happen to him in Anielle? I am genuinely scared that's how fantastic I find these books and GAH

Definitely team Chaol! I love Dorian as well but I don't think Dorian and Celeana are meant for each other, they could be bestest of friends and strong allies but I don't think they could be a couple, I mean even though he hates his father and despises everything his father has done in order to gain more power, his father is responsible for Celeana's parents death and practically her whole race.

Hopefully Chaol's loyalty to the King won't make him do something stupid like *cough* telling the king who celeana actually is *cough* (fingers crossed he won't!)

I am looking forward in TOG is the suspense of the plot. With all the action and romance. :)

I really love the series and I am looking forward to the other books Sarah J. Maas will publish soon :D
She inspired me to write and I can relate to some parts in Celaena's life. :D

I look forward to who Celaena will end up with. :D Sarah J. Maas' books kept me reading on :D

And lastly, I look forward to the third book of the Throne of Glass series- Heir of Fire. :D

I am mostly in Team Chaol. But there are some parts of me that says I am in Team Dorian.

I'm looking forward to the new characters in Heir of Fire <3 There is Rowan who is a fae and Manon who is currently my new favorite, she is an Ironteeth witch, heir of Blackbeak witch clan! We get another fierce woman yes! These books cannot get published quick enough :/

OMG SAMMM I'm also really looking forward to reading the parts that mention Sam! Even the smallest tidbit is precious. He will always be my favorite <3 Although between Chaol and Dorian I love Chaol more.

Definitely Chaol, Dorian's OK, but I thought she connected more with Chaol
