Welcome to the Group! What's your name? What do you do? and why do you read the classics? Which is your favorite classic novel?

My name is Danny Acero, I am a pre-med student and I read the classics be able to connect with people as a future doctor. These books have distinguished themselves in time as being the best or the first at capturing a time or a thought that was so important people continue to read them today. My favorite so far (of the Barnes and Noble classics) is Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol. No other book has made me smile as much as this one. Of course we still have a long way to go to finish these classics.

Bookish Hi, is this group still active?

Pat No, not really. Danny vanished a few years ago. Most of the others have dropped out. I still read Classics almost exclusively, so I've stayed on. People drop in and out all the time. Enjoy.
