I started the Penguin Classics version. The Intro by Brenda Bowen was wonderful --factual, gossipy, just perfect. I am exhausted but will start the book itself tomorrow.

So glad you mentioned it, Carol--great stuff. I love the connection with Bridget Jones and especially with Absolutely Fabulous! I can see both of those, just from having read her memoir.
Oh boy--this should be fun. I'll start this weekend sometime.
I will probably finish this in the next few days.If you haven't read it yet, I think maybe Haaze was right after all, that it should be read in April. Well, not necessarily April, but it needs to be read on vacation--on a luxurious holiday, where the slow pace fits right in. At this time of year, when life tends to be speeding up, it doesn't really fit.
I am still really enjoying it though. I love her writing!
