World Mysteries and Thrillers discussion

Hello, new member, so I apologize if I have done this incorrectly. I just finished The Snowman by Jo Nesbo and I really enjoyed it, apart from all the red herrings which got a little tiresome, but I don't understand the role of the mold man. Did I miss something?

Hey there - I'm late to the party but I just started reading Snowman but I hope to be able to respond to this question sooner than later. I will stay away from this series of post until I finish the book🙂
