Hey Lindsay! This seems exciting! This week is kind of crazy busy for me, but I'll pop in once in a while to see how things are going throughout the week. If you plan on hosting more weekly read-a-thons later on, I'll definitely join in! :D
I'm trying to read a book a day for this week. This is perfect because I don't start school until the 29th.
Thats a great goal! I've got this one week in between my summer and fall semesters, so I figured I'd try to fill it with as much reading as possible, too.
Awesome! *Technically* day one is tomorrow, but I wanted to make sure that this discussion board thing was all set up for everyone.
Good morning, everyone! I started today by getting up early and listening to about 2 hours of the Winter audiobook. My plan is to read as much as I can in 24 hours (with a break to watch the solar eclipse).
Alright, I'm off to read!

Hello! I'm so excited for this group! I'm super busy this week so I'm just gonna try to finish Little & Lion.
Good morning everyone! I'm super busy with work this week but my goal is to finish The Alchemist and The Book Thief. Start slow then go from there. Super super excited
For day one I'm just focusing on books that I am already currently reading, today I'd like to finish Chamber of Secrets (as part of my HP reread) and then I will focus on putting a decent dent in either City of Bones or Witches of East End....I'll have to see which one I'm feeling more once I finish HP. :)
Only on page 39 of The Book Thief. Luckily the call center is not so busy today. MORE READING FOR ME!!! =)
Happy to see y'all participating and updating! Supposedly this solar eclipse should be at its peak over my town right now, but Florida has decided to be extremely cloudy and I can't see a thing. Agh.
BUT I've made quite a dent in my reading and plan to keep trucking along!

Hi! Im really exited to join this group, Because i live in Europe it is a different time for me and i little more diffecult to keep up but i'm still going to do my best. I love read-a-thons. Im reading Crown Of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas right now and i'm loving it. its 20:58 here but im planning on staying up all night reading.
Hi! I think a lot of us will be in different time zones, which makes it even better! You can certainly go by your own time zone if you'd like. I'll go ahead and set up day two.
Also, Crown of Midnight is fantastic!

I have been in a huge reading slump, but I am excited to try to get at it this week. Thank you for hosting this read-a-thon! I'll try to update as I go along :)
Finished chamber of secrets today! I read a nice chunk of city of bones but I'm not sure how much more I'll get through today.
I just found this group and joined. I am also joining in this read-a-thon if it'snot to late. I need to finish up
and
My goal is to finish both books or at least one of them today.
What is everyone read today?
I'm currently 77 pages into Nevernight and about 40% through Winter. I'll add up the total amount of pages read at the end of the day. :)
I'm still reading slowly. I was reading Poison Study earlier, but I stopped and started The Siren by Tiffany Reisz. I'm hoping that latter can put me in a better mood. Lol Good luck everyone!
Well its the end of day one for me (I'm in the UK) and I read my goal of reading 50 pages of Touch but didn't get to any of The Great Hunt but Mondays are always slow reading days for me so I'm still quite pleased 😊
Jessica wrote: "Good morning everyone! I'm super busy with work this week but my goal is to finish The Alchemist and The Book Thief. Start slow then go from there. Super super excited"Oooh, The Book Thief!! Hope you like it! :)
That's great, Hailee! I've already set up day two for all of those on the other side of the world, if you'd like to check that out. 😁
My day one wrap up:
- 70 pages of Nevernight
- 211 pages of Winter
I did get distracted for a few hours, so I could have done better, but I'm pretty content with how much reading I got in.

Wasn't feeling well yesterday. But, I feel a bit better now. Day 2, I'll be turning it around!
