This is a bit delayed, but I've JUST realised there is no 'Currently Reading' page for August 😮😮

So what is everyone reading this month???

message 2: by Daisy (new)

Daisy | 2 comments I'm currently reading "Lincoln in the Bardo." It's so great! I wish I could get access to the audiobook, it seems like it would be so fun to hear all the voices.

message 3: by Elianara (new)

Elianara | 5 comments Finished The Gunslinger by Stephen King, and read three books in the Great Library series by Rachel Caine. I'm debating what to read next, The Rook or The Magicians.

message 4: by Tooch (new)

Tooch (itstooch) | 6 comments I finished "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters," which I loved, and am starting the first Discworld book "The Colour of Magic!"

message 5: by Angi (new)

Angi (angitron) | 1 comments Currently working my way through Stephen King's The Dark Tower series - on Book 4: "Wizard and Glass." Also dipping into Claudia Rankine's "Citizen" (I feel like I'm the last person to have read it!), and I'm also reading "Leviathan Wakes" from The Expanse series. I have a bad habit of reading too many things at once and then wanting to pile more on by starting another new book. Trying to keep what I have for now and stick to it!

Sarah | 17 comments Just finished Confessions by Kanae Minato, which was so good. Dark and twisty!

Oooh, how was it? Putting this on my TBR list...

message 9: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 17 comments Just finished Gone to Dust by Matt Goldman, which is a sort of hardboiled mystery set in Minneapolis. I thought it was great! Especially if you're from the Twin Cities like I am, because it's fun to read something where you recognize the locations in the book. Still in the middle of Design for Dying (1930s Hollywood mystery) by Renee Patrick and The Night Off (butch-femme bdsm erotic romance) by Meghan O'Brien.

Alyssa Gray (lycanthropologies) Reading IT for a book club, and my bedside table book is The Ghosts of Belfast which is a novel about a former IRA hitman and his Ghosts, figurative and literal.

Interesting. I liked the characters and the contrast of traditional with modern. The erotic stories are pretty graphic. I was a bit taken aback, but I felt the other elements of the story that made me like it.

Elizabeth☮ I am reading California by Edan Lepucki California.
