Open to guards and prisoners alike. It's a large, two-story space [having a staircase and elevator to the upper floor] that consists of every arcade game, video games, computers and other game consoles both old and new. All you'll ever need to satisfy anyone's boredom or entertainment craving.
Only prisoners with authorization can enter the arcade during their free time and are always supervised by a guard or security.

Benny Boot (bennyboot) | 430 comments Jagger Van Kirk had his mind into one of the many older arcade games in the arcade. This is where he was most days for long periods of time. His eyes were glued to the screen, so close to finishing this level and beat the high score, someone had beat it a week ago and he was trying his damnest to get it back. He let out a shout of victory as he did it, he got the high score and beat the game. "HAH! Beat that you stupid machine!'' He very confidently put J.V.K in the high score position and went on to play something, his adrenaline still pumping and needing something to keep it going.

A few minutes after he'd left the game, the very same machine was ringing off the victory noise for beating the high score once more. If he were to become curious and check out the improbable situation, he'd find a young girl sitting curled up on the chair wrapped in a large comforter with watermelons on it. She was munching on some chips, looking at the screen with a set of dull crimson eyes and unruly black hair that fell in front of her face. On the screen was the high score page where the title 'Kasumi' replaced 'J.V.K' as the high scorer. She lifted her thumb and chewed at her nail a bit, lost in thought.

message 4: by Benny Boot (new)

Benny Boot (bennyboot) | 430 comments His ears caught the noise as he had moved on to another machine and quickly finishing it he head that way. He walked to the screen, despite the girl sitting there and looked. "How in the world did beat me so fast?" He turned around to face her, his silver hair a bit of a mess and his glasses pushed up on his face. He was a bit taken off by the appearance of the girl, how old was she to be bringing a blanket with her to the arcade? It wasnt even that cold. His mind was already calculating her age and where he knew her from as he waited for an answer.

Kasumi glanced up at him, blinking at him a bit as if she didn't hear him while moving a chip to her mouth. Her eyes then lit up when something seemed to click. She licked the oil off her fingers after finishing off the chip, wiping it on her comforter before she pulled out an earbud that was hidden by her hair. "What?" asked the 18-year-old. When it was repeated, she raised a brow and glanced back at the scene. "By playing it...?" she said hesitantly, unsure what this guy was trying to get out of her. She never did understand people. "You're J.V.K.." she mused to herself, noticing the title beneath her's. She'd seen it on other games in the arcade too. Seemed like he was a gamer like her and a good one at that. Nanba seemed to attract them.

Benny Boot (bennyboot) | 430 comments "Yes, but you whooped me, like by a big bit of points." Jagger stared back at the screen in disbelief. He didn't even think that high of a score is that much possible. "Yes I'm J.V.K, Jagger Van Kirk." He said quickly just to get it out. He had taken off his glasses so he could rub his blue eyes. His mind began to overclock to think of all the places he didnt get in the game. He didn't even know why he needed to have the top score on this game, but Jagger just had to have it. "You would be?" He said, hoping she would talk more, giving him time to think, but she seemed like the lady to stay quiet.

"You took too long on the last boss," Kasumi said, guessing the reason since she hadn't been watching him play. It was a common error which is why she stated it. "Defeating it under 30 seconds will give you a time bonus," she said, making beating the hardest boss sound like a task, not an end goal.
Kasumi turned the chair and slid her legs out from under the blanket, aiming to play some more games when he asked who she was. She looked at him, blinked a bit. "Kasumi Shai," she responded, "feel free to call me Kasumi or Mi-Mi," she said. She only gave the option to fellow gamers otherwise she would have left it at that. She got off the chair and gripped her comforter.
"Chip?" she offered, his expression was making her a bit concerned and a little bit curious. Was he not often beaten?

Benny Boot (bennyboot) | 430 comments "The last boss, well, geez. That seems a bit much to do it in half a minute." Jagger sighed and placed his glasses back on. He wasn't beat very often, not a video games at least. Of course most athletics he was since he was a bag of bones, but when it came to games, he was king. e let himself take a mental breath and relaxed, he will just have to beat it again once she leaves and one up her. "Thanks, Mi-Mi." calling her that felt odd but the smaller girl did ask him to, so he did. Jagger popped the chip in his mouth than rubbed his fingers, getting whatever dust off them. As she got up, he sat down, tossing a credit into the machine and started going into gaming mode, doing everything with lightning speed and close to inhuman reaction.

Kasumi gave him a small salute, "no problem," she murmured and continued to munch on her chips. She stayed there for a moment, watching him as she ate her food. After a bit though she got bored and went off to play something else. She sat herself down at another game to play. With the controls, she sat arched and played using her feet so she could contently eat her chips. However, she finished it off and needed to toss it out. She wiped her fingers off and switched to quickly finish off the game. Finding herself accidentally reaching a secret level. She sighed, paused the game. She didn't like pausing games, it made her uncomfortable but she got up to throw out the garbage and returned to explore the secret level. Kasumi wondered if Jagger had beat her score yet.

message 10: by Benny Boot (new)

Benny Boot (bennyboot) | 430 comments Jagger was completely in focus for the net ten minutes, in an absolute trance as he grabbed every coin, killed every boss with great speed and efficiency. As the game ended he looked around, he didn't know if he beat the score or not and prayed he did. Then the victory sound came and he grinned from ear to ear. "YES!" He yelled, Kasumi could probably hear it from whatever machine she was at the shout of victory coming from Jagger. He didn't care at this point if she would beat him again, he wanted to move on. SO, Jagger got up, brushed off his shirt from nothing and went to the quiter PC area to play Divination for awhile.

Kasumi heard the noise and hummed, nodding. "Yes," she muttered to herself though as she finished off the game she was playing, she was also going through the game he just beat mentally to assess if there was a way to get more points and if so, what was the highest points you could get. Was there a limit?
Kasumi finished off the game while she pondered this and then got off it to go the vendor to get a drink. She needed to raise her blood sugar levels or she'd probably pass out. Getting a soda, she stuck in a straw she brought with her and wandered the arcade for something to play before her shift started. However, she passed by the area that held the computers where she heard a familiar noise.
Kasumi ended up sitting curled up on a chair behind and a little to the left of Jagger, sipping her drink as she watched him play. She'd never watched anyone play Divination, only played it so it was a fascinating experience. "6 o'clock," she voice, and she didn't mean the time. She also didn't know if he even noticed that she had arrived. She didn't tend to make much noise.

Benny Boot (bennyboot) | 430 comments Jagger wasn't playing any big boss battle today, he just wanted to get on to feed his addiction to the game. He had went out to fight a mini horde just to kill time until other members of his group got on. He had a bag of pretzels in his pocket that he would occasionally grab a handful from and continue his work. Eventually, though not for awhile, he would have to go back to his cell and get to work on some guard's taxes, he forgot which on it was. As he was focusing on the game, he didn't see the black haired girl walk by and sit, but did feel someone's eyes on him. As he heard the call out he quickly bludgeoned the enemy she referred to and he spoke quickly and gave her a thumbs up. "Thanks" Jagger then quickly finished up the of the hoard, going back to the main hub of the game he turned around. "Well hello, again.

Kasumi hummed at the thanks, shrugging which went unnoticed due to her big blanket and sipped her drink. She was mainly just watching him play. He was a rather good player so she was wondering if she had heard of him before but she only knew people by their character names having no interest for anyone outside of the world even if it was often just their username.
"Greetings earthling," she responded in a dull tone and shifted to lean over him to access his character's name and stats.
She then exited out of it and sat back to look at him.
"Part of a group?" she asked. She was going through everyone she did know to figure out if she had heard or even encountered him before.

Benny Boot (bennyboot) | 430 comments "Yeah, Iron Garden. Not all that big, but you know, some peolpe know us." Jagger let her mess around with his screen as he pushed his chair back and popped a couple more pretzels in his mouth. "I was at one point Bidealia the Dancer, but I lost that account ages ago. Im now just Calhoun." He pushed his hair back to get it out of his face. He was pretty tired, he usually didn't sleep until late and it was starting to catch up to him. Caffeine, caffiene was what he needed. "I'll be right back." He got up and went to one of the many vending machines in the arcade and found the coffee maker and began to put some credits in.

Iron Garden. Her interest was peaked when he was part of a group she didn't know. It wasn't surprising since she didn't know much of what on inside of Divination besides new monsters and scores for bosses and areas in the game. She looked at him through her hair, a wide eyed curious look. She nodded when he said he was going to leave and pulled out her phone. Accessing the Divination website, she searched up the names he'd mentioned to do some research. She chewed on the straw of her drink as she hunched over looking at her phone. She had hacked into the account to watch some footage of battles. She had a leg free of her ball of the blanket to spin the chair around while she sipped her drink and watched.
She shut it down after a moment and setting down her soda, she crawled into the chair he vacated to go to his profile and opened a tab for his settings. She hooked her phone into the computer and paused. She'd wait for him to return until then she spun around in the chair again.

Benny Boot (bennyboot) | 430 comments Jagger returned with coffee and surprise! Another bag of pretzels. He looked at Kasumi with a very skeptical look as she plugged her phone into the computer and asked. "What are you doing to my game?" He took a seat in the chair where was she was sitting, so they had switched spots. He placed the coffee on the table and pocketed the pretzels, having thrown away the other bag when he got up. Jagger watched a bit of the video she was playing and realized it was footage of his group, wasn't that stuff private? Someone must of put it up online than he decided.

"I can't re-establish your account, a law in Divination... or some shit," Kasumi muttered, chewing the straw and glanced back at him. "But I can move skills stats, items, and abilities into this account that you lost in your old one," she told him before taking another sip of her drink, looking at him through her mop of black hair. She only had to find it in the coding and had to know what exactly she was looking for. Or not bother at all, that she didn't mind as well. "If you want," she added as an afterthought, realizing she hadn't said it. She only offered because at a lot of the item collection and even some rare skills were pure luck based and hard to get back. Mainly, it would be a challenge and she was eager to do it.

message 18: by Benny Boot (new)

Benny Boot (bennyboot) | 430 comments "Well if you want, go on ahead, I wouldn't mind one bit." He spoke curiously, how would she move all that stuff form one person to another. If he remembered correctly, A lot of the crap he had on her was really hard to get, plus some super magic ring thing that only happened once every rare time, and you had to win a tournament to get it. "How would you even manage to get that? The prison when I got caught thought I used it for my 'dastardly' deeds, so they wiped it completely.." He had done air quotes on the word dastardly, it wasn't his fault he was smarter that the cops!

Challenge confirmed, sweet! Kasumi grinned and got to work. She opened a tab on the computer he'd been using, making sure to have the game still running in the background. She went onto the website for the game and at an inhuman speed, hacked into the website, and used that connection to tunnel into the company's databases. "When did it happen?" Kasumi asked, rolling her eyes at how absurd their reasoning for deleting it was.
She paused on the database part to open up the game and hacked into the coding for his game- for later. before she left that in the background once again.
Once given a date, she sped through the database codes, knowing what she was looking for. There was always a footprint left behind and even if they deleted the character, that was hours of content they would have to delete. If they even dared try, they would have missed something. Kasumi doubted even that, they probably just wiped off the account and wiped their hands clean of that after watching all of the content to make sure he hadn't done anything. If they even went that far.
Passing through a lot of coding in a quick speed she paused when she saw what she was looking for. She shrunk the screen and put it alongside with the coding for his game. She finally put down her soda though kept the straw in her mouth to chew on and began typing in content in a pace that made it seem she had multiple hands on the keyboard. She finished, entered the content in the game and closed the firewall she hacked into before closing that tab down.

Kasumi grabbed her soda and climbed off his chair. "Once it loads back up, items should be in your inventory and skills in the skill selection menu," she told him and unplugged her phone which disappeared behind her comforter wall.

Benny Boot (bennyboot) | 430 comments He watched, mostly in awe. Jagger wasn't one very good with technology for the most part, that job belonged to his older sister. "How on earth.." He started but it faded. Numbers were whirling around everywhere and he was starting to get slightly excited. This was actually pretty cool, even though he saw a lot of it. "You serious?" He raised an eyebrow as he rolled your chair and his chair so that they had switched places and clicked around, he realized she was right. Out of nowhere a hug came from Jagger and then he realized what he was doing, with whom he was doing it with. He quickly set her down and coughed, fixing his shirt. "My apologies."

Kasumi blinked at him, her expression unchanging, "very serious...?" she ended it in a question mark, tilting her head to the side. Why wouldn't she be? She sipped her drink, looking around the place to decide what else she wanted to play before she was forced to go back on shift. Usually, people took this opportunity to sleep or something but Kasumi was sort of an insomniac so that wasn't happening. However, her ponderings were cut off when she suddenly found herself trapped in a pair of arms. She stared at him in shock, like the sort of look that you get from your cat when they can't believe what just happened and just stare. It took a bit for her to snap out of it when she cautiously shrugged, "gamers unite," she muttered and sipped the last of her soda. She pouted down at it, "fiddlesticks." She then looked at him, "any games you suggest?" she asked.

Benny Boot (bennyboot) | 430 comments "Well, there is a good Battletoads machine in the back corner. I like it." Jagger sighed as he grabbed his coffee and sat back down. He looked pretty calm and cool on the outside but inside he was freaking out. Why did I hug her? Oh God Oh god..so on and so forth. He stared at the game, still in somewhat disbelief as he just clicked around the stats and on the inventory. "This is still very col, you must be some kind of whiz, like Cassandra." He took off his glasses for a moment to clean them as they had fogged up a bit from just the humidity in the room.

Kasumi glanced in the direction, deciding why not. It would fill in the time she had before work and then she'd mainly be watching cameras and anime. What should she watch today? She went to go off to play Battletoads when he spoke again. She didn't know who Cassandra was but, "technology is easy to understand," she stated simply. "You here tomorrow?" she asked, it had been fun to beat his score, they could compete tomorrow when she had more time. She didn't know if he had daily access to the arcade or not since he wasn't a guard.

Benny Boot (bennyboot) | 430 comments "Im here everyday." Jagger told her, if he could, he would just live in the arcade, as he didnt do anything else with his time. "You have fun actually doing work." He sighed, wishing he could work, it got boring doing nothing all day. He sighed and went to work on the computer, remembering all the stuff it took to play the Dancer.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments Junko was panicking. They marched into the arcade, face blank but eyes sharp enough to make the people that glanced at them look away quickly. Where the hell was their phone!? What if someone attacked their base in War Dragons!? What if they missed a chatroom in Mystic Messenger!? It was the last thought that made them really frantic. Jun searched prisoners, lifted up whole gaming stations, even the couches and chairs spread out around the second floor of the building. They were about ready to detach their hammer from the loop on their belt and start breaking stuff. Junko was so incredibly frantic, but all those around them saw was an irritated gremlin, someone to keep away from should they snap. After about ten minutes of searching, they fell to their knees in the second-story lounge, panting and grumbling softly to themself. They hadn't saved Mystic Messenger before they lost their phone. That thought in particular had them on the verge of tears.

Aylor, or Ayli as Castyn often called him, was making his way around as he normally did. Unnoticed since he didn't like the stares he got when he wasn't in the shadows. It made him uncomfortable seeing how others feared him. He was quiet, moving silently through the shadows of the building with Neira around his neck. She was sleeping currently but he knew the kitsune demon was very aware of her surroundings despite being unconscious. She and Castyn were the only ones that enjoyed being around him at this point. Every since becoming what he was, people were unsettled when he was around. It made him sad but in a way happy since it meant he didn't need to talk.
It was when he was making his way around when he happened to find something on the floor. Leaving the safety of the shadows, he went over and picked it up. He examined it curiously, his lower face mask hiding much of his expression. Neria awoke in her own curiosity as they stared down at the phone in his hand. It was good to see it wasn't externally damaged but clearly used. Ayli glanced at Neria and the duo exchanged looks before silently agreeing to look for its owner and return the device to them. They must be frantic looking for it. Ayli had seen people where their phones were basically what Neria was to him. Essential.
Thus, using the scent they'd gotten from the phone, Ayli darted through the halls, following the scent and arriving a place that was very much in chaos. Being the softy, need to help guy he was, he paused his search to fix up the room where he could. He'd have to tell Castyn to get someone into replacing what had been broken beyond repair.
It was around this point when he happened upon the person he'd been searching for. Ayli guessed at least since they had the same scent as the phone's owner. In a very Aylor way, he appeared in front of the rather [cute] looking person and held out the phone.
Ayli doesn't have a presence thus why it seems he appear and suddenly disappears, it's why people find him unnerving and it doesn't help that he omits an unpleasant aura. With sharp eyes that are clearly animalistic in nature and half his face hidden, the guy looks more like a criminal than a guard. However, his stance was non-threatening and he was very still as he held the phone out towards them. It may help that Neria was perched on his shoulder, looking at them curiously, head quirked to the side and all.
Ayli happened to notice the watery appearance of their eyes and was internally concerned, getting a little twitchy since he didn't know how to help but wanted desperately to. It was unfortunate that none of it showed on his face at that point in time.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments Junko's ears perked and they turned their head toward the sound of footsteps only to find a tall man standing behind them. Their tail flicked curiously as they stood, only to see their precious phone in the man's hand. Eyes widening, Jun looked up at the man, meeting his gaze. They recognized him. Aylor was a well-known guard, simply because of how much he terrified people. Being someone who was either hated, feared, or belittled, Jun felt a sort of kinship with the guard, though they had never interacted before. A light blush lit their cheeks as they reached out with a small hand, accepting the phone. "Th-thank you, Aylor-senpai," they mumbled, their ears back a bit with embarrassment. Just how much had Aylor seen of Jun's panic? Of their franticness? Had Aylor seen them start to cry?

Jun gulped a bit, but their ears perked upon seeing the adorable fox on Aylor's shoulders. They have always been a sucker for small, fluffy things, and this fox seemed to be no different as their heart skipped a beat and their eyes began shimmering. "C...cute," they mumbled, "can I pet her?" Jun glanced quickly at Aylor as they waited for permission, but found their gaze drawn back to the fox. Their own tail swished in excitement though their face remained expressionless.

((Is it okay if me and Sir rp in this thread as well? Separate from this of course ^^))

Ayli's gaze was downcasted, peeking up through his lashes at Junko only to see their cheeks brighten just enough for Aylor to tell the difference in colour. Fortunately for Ayli, his mask hid his own blush that sparked from their blush. Cause and effect, simply put, Castyn always teased Aylor for blushing so easily. He couldn't help it, he was a shy guy that blushed easily.
He felt a leap of his heart when Junko thanked him, making him want to smile with glee. It had been a long while since he'd received a thanks when he'd tried to help someone. It didn't help that the other guard was very cute and rather easy to read. Being with Neria for so long meant reading reactions or emotions for animal's ears and tails were like second nature.
Fortunately for Junko, Ayli hadn't seen him panic, only the aftermath.
Aylor was rather lost in his thoughts when they had thanked him. To the point, he completely forgot to react or reply to it. Very rude but Ayli was thinking to the relief they were in now having their phone in their possession once again. He was still on a little of a high from successfully helping someone.

He was drawn from his racing thoughts when Junko spoke again. Aylor focused his gaze on them to see that they were looking at Neria. At the question, he glanced at Neria, the two looking at each other for a bit before Ayli turned back and nodded at Jun. Neria would accept their affection. Neria, with Aylor's help, was put down onto the ground where she adjusted her small size to a regular size of an adult fox and sat just ahead of Ayli's feet, looking at Jun, fully ready to be stroked. A prideful little demon but clearly a sweetheart as much as her companion.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments (Um... It'll be very confusing and overwhelming for me. I'm sorry. It's just a bit too chaotic for me...)

Junko waited patiently for a response, but when they finally got one, they found it a struggle to contain their squeal of happiness. Lowering into a cute crouch that resulted in a little bulge on their thighs between their black thigh-highs and booty-shorts. They fell silent as they reached toward the fox, but the way their tail flicked and their ears perked said enough—they were ecstatic. Blush still present, they sunk their fingers into the thick hide of the fox's pelt. As they themself was a kitsune, they knew the best spots for scratches. Under the corner of the jaw, behind the ears, on top of the muzzle, the base of the spine. Several other areas received gentle pets. Between the eyes, the shoulders got a little massage.

Though Jun would probably never have their fill of petting an animal, their phone buzzed the signal of a new chatroom opening. Their ears and tail flinched in surprise and they pulled one hand away from the fox to check the notification. Free hand still petting Neira, they opened the Mystic Messenger app, trying their best not to groan when it slowly loaded the opening sequence. Letting their phone rest on their thighs, Jun returned their full attention onto the fox. "What's her name?" they asked in their soft, feminine voice, looking up at Aylor.

((That's fine. ^^ We'll do it somewhere else. Thus why I asked first))

Ayli silently watched as Neria fell completely under Junko's control. She stood no chance at their knowledge of kitsunes' weak spots. Her prideful sitting position soon crumbled and she was leaning into their touch. It got to the point where Neria was on the ground, on her side, on her back and rolling closer and closer to Junko's hand. Ayli was surprised and in awe to see this to the point where he couched down to watch. He was fascinated with how she was reacting to a total stranger. She was very selective with those she socialized with at this point. Why she formed a contract with Castyn, he would never know.

Aylor and Neria both reacted rather violently to the sudden loud noise. Neria was on her feet, ears cocked and standing more between the phone and Ayli. Aylor, had a hand on the ground while the other had a kunai suddenly in place and ready to use if needed. Once he realized it had just been the phone, both creatures relaxed and Ayli tucked his kunai back up the sleeve of his shirt. Neria returned to sitting and cocked her head when Jun spoke once again, glancing back at Ayli who looked actually startled. It a weird expression on Ayli since one could only see his eyebrows raised and his eyes widened slightly. His gaze flicked away from them to Neria before back at them. He had to speak otherwise no one would answer their question. Castyn wasn't here to tell Junko. "Neira," he said eventually, his voice quiet and low but not as harsh and cold as one would expect. It did sound rough, almost hoarse since it wasn't used much. He was looking at Neria, his expression looking rather soft as he looked at his companion.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments Junko almost apologized for scaring Aylor and Neira, but their mind told them that it would be best to keep quiet. It always seemed to tell them that, to be honest. Being silent was a defense mechanism, and by the time it took for Aylor to speak and the roughness of his voice, Jun assumed that it was one for the man as well. After receiving an answer, they looked back down at Neira, petting her just as thoroughly as they had before. "Pretty," they muttered, feeling as if it would be rude not to respond. Then the menu screen popped up for Mystic Messenger and Jun again divided their attention between petting Neira and the game. For a few minutes, they were silent, their eyes sparkling at their phone screen. It was amazing that they didn't start to cramp from sitting in a perfect crouch for so long. When the chatroom finally ended, they slipped their phone in their back pocket and gave Neira their full attention again. Their fluffy tail swept slowly side to side on the floor, a clear sign of their enjoyment. "My name's Junko, by the way," Jun muttered, keeping their gaze on the fox before them. They said nothing more, not bothering to look at Aylor to see if he had heard them or even acknowledged their words.

Ayli looked at Neria when Junko made the comment about her being pretty. She was cute, adorable but he'd also seen her in her demon form. Sure then she was rather pretty but she was quite scary as well. He couldn't help but agree, she was very pretty. He probably shouldn't say anything about Neria being a demon.
When their attention diverted, he looked over curiously but he didn't move any closer, instead, he only straightened up, nervous that his stance would seem more threatening than he wanted it to be. He had his gloved his hands behind his back. He was quiet, unsure what to do, Castyn was the one who could spark a conversation. It was clear they were occupied and Ayli would have politely left but Neria was still here and he never went anywhere without her.
Fortunately, he didn't need to dwell on it for long since they seemed to have finished whatever they'd been doing. Neria seemed to be soaking in the attention she was receiving but her attention was waning. "Ayli," Aylor found himself responding and feeling chills. He was glad he had his mask on. He felt flustered, he'd said two words and it had been more than he'd said in days. Neria got up them, approaching Ayli and rubbed against his leg. He bent down a little to scoop her up. She shrank in his grasp so she could comfortably lay on his shoulders where she laid her head and worked on returning to her nap that had been disturbed from.

Junko gave Aylor a small smile when he responded, though it quickly turned into a pout due to Neira pulling away and returning to her owner. They stood in response, their eyes suddenly sparkling and ears perking upon seeing Neira shrink. To be quite honest, they didn't want to leave. Not when they had spoken more to the near-quietest person at Nanba than they had with anyone else in the entirety of a week. Most people, when interacting with Jun, tried to fill the silence that their refusal to speak left. This situation however, was far different than those they had been put in before. They found they enjoyed Aylor's company, and whether that was aided by Neira's presence mattered not to Jun. Before they could mask their feelings, their ears dropped a bit, their tail flicking hesitantly, awkwardly. It took them a moment to gather their courage and will before they spoke.
"Are you leaving now?" Junko mumbled, looking up at the man. Like the child their height suggested they could be, the hopeful shimmer in their eyes could not go unnoticed. It was also painfully obvious in their tone that they wanted Aylor to stay with them. Unfortunately, Jun's phone began ringing. They jumped almost half a foot in the air, and by the time they answered the call with small, shaking hands, they were on the verge of tears from the scare. Jun did not need to wait for the girl on the other line to say anything, as she stated why she had called and then quickly hung up. Someone needed them to 'deal with' a prisoner with mental powers. Heart still racing, Junko carefully slipped their phone into their back pocket and then looked back up at Aylor.
"I gotta go... b-but..!" They paused, their cheeks heating up to the point that their tail started flicking around and their ears lowered as well as their gaze. "Senpai, c-can I...exchange n-numbers with you...?" It didn't look like they could blush any harder. Their hands twisted at the hem on the legs of their shorts nervously as they awaited Aylor's answer.

((Thanks!! Argh I went really downhill there))

Ayli was tempted to apologize seeing Junko's pout but he didn't control Neria, hence why she was his companion not his pet. It helped that she was a powerful demon instead of a normal fox, kitsune creature. It didn't take too long for said beast to pass out on his shoulders. It was a miracle that Neria never seemed to fall off. Well, not anymore at least. She used to fall off all the time when he was younger.
In this current situation, Ayli wasn't too sure what to do. Should he leave now that he'd returned the device and now that Neria wasn't awake? Should he stay? He couldn't really keep a conversation and most people wanted to talk and stuff, apparently. That's all Castyn seemed to do with other people. However, he noticed their change in body language which had him cautious and concerned despite it not being entirely visible. Ayli watched them silently, waiting to see if they were going to say something or not.
Ayli blinked for a moment when they asked, wondering why they'd be asking that and pondering the intentions they had for asking that. Did they want them to stay? However, the phone rang before he could figure out some sort of response and caused him to tense and Neria's ears to pop up but she refused to even open her eyes.
He could see that the other guard had been quite startled by the call and wanted to comfort them somehow but held back, knowing if he got any closer, his aura seemed to overpower some people the closer he got. He tended to keep his distance from people he didn't need to apprehend.
Ayli nodded, his head still rather downcasted but his watchful, sliver slitted eyes. It took a few moments to realize what they'd asked of him. Castyn had got him a phone since occasionally he left to different buildings so he'd always message Aylor to let him know. Most of the time he already did but it helped to know when he'd be back, or if he got a little restless and someone needed Aylor to go in and calm him down before he tortured someone.
Without a word, and seemingly without even moving, Aylor carefully held out his hand which was holding out his own phone to give to Junko. It wasn't locked and literally was only used for text and phone purposes that he didn't know how to close.

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments Junko was nervous to hear Aylor's response, but when the man held out his phone, their ears perked, their tail wagging happily behind them. Before taking the phone out of Aylor's hand, they looked up at him and gave him a small smile. They typed in their phone number and labeled themself as 'Jun-chan XP' in his contact list. It took them seconds to then register the man's number in their phone under the name 'Ayli-senpai ;P'. Despite the fact that their blush didn't fade at all, they seemed move relaxed when they handed back Aylor's phone. "Yay," they mumbled, stifling a giggle. "I'll text you! Mata ne, Ayli-senpai." With that, Junko skipped adorably toward the door of the arcade's room. They came to a stop in the doorframe though, turning back toward Aylor and squeaking out, "You're really nice, Senpai," before leaving as fast as they could.

(so I'm thinking that maybe that Juncchi could be sitting in the cafeteria at lunch by themself, and then Aylor just...sits down next to them? I really...picture Aylor as Shin-ah from Akatsuki no Yona, if you've watched/read it???)

((they are precious omg. Just took Aylor's heart and like crushed it... in a good way))

Ayli watched him and carefully took the phone back from him and had a small smile that was fairly hidden with his mask but was visible just enough. He nodded, finding himself really happy to have made his first friend, beside Neria and his twin. It made him blush having called him senpai, a term he'd only heard his brother being called. Ayli looked down at his phone, checking it to see what they'd put their name as expecting it to be the name he'd spoken but found it different from that. It had him smiling once again and he looked over when he heard them speak again, eyes widened for a moment. When they vanished, Aylor was crouched down, phone clenched against his chest. He felt his heart spasm, acting very weirdly and an intense emotion he hadn't felt in a long time. Water pooled in his eyes from happiness. They'd called him nice. Neria moved then, licking his face and nudged her head against him until he composed himself. He then got up, putting the phone away and headed back to building 6, eager to tell his brother what just happened.

((SHIN-AH IS MY LOVELY BABY BOY AND I ADORE HIM AND ARGGGH AND YES THAT IS LIKE AYLOR, IN A NUTSHELL, The accuracy, I now see it. Sure! Sounds good ^^ I have a feeling Castyn may come in this time around xD))

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments (Okay, so like... I love them together...already.... Where do you want me to post for Jun eating??? I was thinking somewhere crowded so it'd be a good 'woah he's sitting with someone new' kinda reaction, y'know? I also really want Castyn to be there. I feel like he wouldn't just let Aylor get attached to someone without first assuring that they were a good person)

(I LOVE SHIN-AH SO MUUUUCH!!! MY PRECIOUS BABYYYYYY)

Definitely! Castyn will make his appearance and investigate this matter like the best brother he is! xD))

((I KNOW RIIIGHT Good characters but I hate... fuck forget his name. The asshole Yona was in love with but took over... yeah... that guy. Hate him. No excuses. But ehhh that's just me))

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments (I was thinking somewhere more open, like a cafeteria... Is it alright if I just post in a common-room, or the lounge??? Would that work?)

(I HATE HIM TOO)

((Cafeteria's are more directed to inmates I feel... Is there a lounge type place? I know breakrooms/offices but I didn't suggest that since there are a few to specific buildings... and idk if either of their buildings has been made...?? idk I know building 6 hasn't but is Junko's?))

((YESSSS argh! Know right?! In the manga, a few moments had me seeing why he did what he did BUT NO EXCUSES!! None!))

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments (Okay, so maybe he goes to Block 3 specifically to find Junko, and they're in the cafeteria, eating. It'd be suuuper cute of he sat down in front of them. Maybe he got worried because a seemingly-shy, innocent person is working in the sex-offender's block.)

((Well Junko has his contact info so maybe something happened in mystic messenger and they had no one else to tell but they were excited about it and wanted to converse with him again?? Aylor would show up and Castyn would come because blah blah, but getting there Aylor would definitely be a little concerned about the status of the prisoners in the building compared to Junko))

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments (*They. Junko probs wouldn't say something like that, not after just meeting Aylor. I'd kinda like for it to be a surprise for Aylor to show up. Maybe Castyn get's curious and goes to meet Junko on his own, but Aylor comes because he's nervous about what Castyn might do????)

((goddammit I am a horrible human being. So sorry.
Castyn would definitely do that. Aylor would be watching the entire time but he won't make a public appearance, not since he knows how people respond to him. The only way he'd 'show' up would be if something happens to spark that little dark trait in Castyn... ya know?))

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments (Oh... Are you sure? I mean, we can keep it with Castyn if you want, but Junko probably wouldn't talk to him much, if at all. They'd be very uncomfortable, considering how much of a well-known smooth-talker Castyn is.)

((aka me attempting to make someone a smooth talker when I suck at talking xD Humor
yeah... they probably won't be talking much... I feel like that would lead to Castyn working himself up, threatening them if they tried to do anything to his brother blah blah the Aylor literally appearing to calm his shit..??))

hairyfurnacedemon (hairy_furnace_demon) | 1121 comments (Junko will be very uncomfortable, likely even after Aylor comes in to their rescue. Just...word it carefully, otherwise Junko will get angry, or they'll just leave.)
