BTW, for all you Geek Out folks who are interested in apocalyptic scenarios, like is found in "Ashfall", be aware that we have an event at the library on September 9: Disaster Prepping with Jim Cobb at 1 pm. He will talk about sheltering at home in the event of a disaster as well as what you might need in your vehicle for safety. GOBC meets in 2 weeks! 10/23 at 6 pm at Mindframe Theater. Have y'all finished it yet? I haven't! (No spoilers!) It is pretty intense so far. Bleak too, I think. But I knew it had to be. Looking forward to seeing what everyone thinks about it! Also!!! I am going to be bringing a list of potential books for next year's Geek Out Book Club!! I want everyone at the book club to vote on what we read next year! I think it will be even more fun that way! I hope to see you there!
