you have until the 4th of July to signup, then I will announce the partners the next day!

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

We will have a threesome this month with the partners being Holly, Janessa, and Pamela!

message 7: by Holly (new)

Holly | 100 comments Yay! What are we reading, ladies?

message 8: by Pamela (new)

Pamela Mclaren It looks like all three of us have "In the Woods" by Tana French on our "To Read" list … should we try that?

Holly and I both have Douglas Preston's "Relic" and "Reliquary" books, which are the first two in Preston's Pendergast series.

Or if you have something else, I'm open.

Also, I've never done a buddy reads, so can one of you explain how this will work?

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Basically we chose a book we all have on our to be read shelves, then once we have picked which one we would like to read I will make up a discussion thread for us to talk about the book together. And Into The Woods sounds good to him, unless you too find another book we all share to read. I'm game for anything!

message 10: by Pamela (new)

Pamela Mclaren Sounds good. Thanks for the clarification.

message 11: by Holly (new)

Holly | 100 comments I don't have a copy of In the Woods......

message 12: by Pamela (new)

Pamela Mclaren Do you have an alternative book? I picked that out of our "To Read" lists but if you have something else you would like to start, please suggest it.

message 13: by Heather (new)

Heather I would love to join so that you guys won't have to have a threesome

Maybe just let Pamela know which ones you have out and then decide from there.

message 20: by Holly (new)

Holly | 100 comments That's a good idea. I hope she'll be able to get one of them.....

Thanks again Janessa!!

message 21: by Pamela (new)

Pamela Mclaren If you have Dan Brown's "Inferno," we can read that.

Holly | 100 comments Pamela wrote: "If you have Dan Brown's "Inferno," we can read that."

I do have a copy of it, but unfortunately, I have it packed away now. :(

These are the books I still have out:
Watch Your Back
Afraid of the Dark: The True Story of a Reckless Husband, his Stunning Wife, and the Murder that Shattered a Family
Outlander (Starz Tie-in Edition): A Novel
The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair
Due Diligence: A Thriller
The Cypress House
The Hidden Ones

message 23: by Pamela (new)

Pamela Mclaren I don't have any of these books (most are not really my cup of tea) but I can purchase "The Cypress House" via my Kindle.

I'm in the middle of another book but can probably begin this after Tuesday. I noticed that you have a number of books going currently. When do you think that you could get started reading this?

Also, should we check in with each other by chapter or major event in the story?

message 24: by Holly (new)

Holly | 100 comments Sounds good. I can start whenever. Whatever you want to do is cool with me.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

Holly and Pamela is "The Cypress House" what plan on reading?

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

One advise is to compare books with each other and find ones that you both have marked as "to read" that might help as well

message 27: by Pamela (new)

Pamela Mclaren Thank you, Janessa, for all your help. As Holly has "The Cypress House," we'll read that.

message 28: by Holly (new)

Holly | 100 comments Have you started the novel already, Pamela?

message 29: by Pamela (new)

Pamela Mclaren I've got just a few more pages to read in the book I've been reading and then I can get started on it. How about yourself?

(We also probably should use the page Janessa created for us …)

message 30: by Holly (new)

Holly | 100 comments I'll probably start it either tonight or tomorrow.

Oh, okay. I didn't know she started a page.
