I plan to make a smallish dent in my backlist this year, joining late but I already have 30 or so from this year's reading to add. I am not making any goals about not buying more, because that's just not realistic. :-)

OK, so 33 for the year, possibly 35 if I finish 2 more in the next few days.... it would have been 15 or so more if library books could be included. I did not note when I made my prediction of 48 that library books were not allowed. I get my audiobooks from the library, and copy them to my computer for reading on my own schedule. I delete after listening once, so I'm not violating the spirit of the library loan. So for me I actually have audiobook backlist books to read. And probably about half of these backlist books left the house permanently, I only keep certain authors now for obvious space concerns. :-)
I see that we both ended up scaling Mt. Ararat this year. Feels good to clean up the TBR: one of my last was a book I’ve had for 10 years. 😳
