The Robin Hobb Collection discussion

Hi guys,

Anyone interested to buddy-read The Soldier's Son trilogy? The group read it before back in 2014 but who knows there might be some late stragglers like me.

Does not have to be this month or the next. In fact, I can only start in November or December due to a very long list of other buddy reads.

A very tentative yes here - both the book's reputation and the timing (now till end of year) might not work for me, but I'll try keep up.

Theoretically, I guess - I do have a copy of it and I've been meaning to read it. But I don't make promises about my reading schedule anymore...

I love that trilogy and have been meaning to reread it. I'm on board and currently between books. Let me know.

Great! Thanks for the responses. I'm already happy if I could get two or three buddies but the more the merrier.

Let's say we start at mid November and give one book six weeks to read and discuss:
15 November - 31 December Shaman's Crossing
1 January - 14 February Forest Mage
15 February - 31 March Renegade's Magic

How's that sound? Plenty of time to procure and re/read, I reckon.

Circling back to these dates - they've been at the back of my mind but I'll have to bail for now. Glad to see at least one person moving on to book #3.

I figured on March/April on Renegade's for stragglers. I'm going to start it after my current reads - itching to finish!

Since the discussion was kind of quiet for Forest, I think I'll just use the already existing discussion threads for flailing. :)
