What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I'm looking for a book i read a few years back but don't remember the title or author. Here is what I do remember:

The h was loved by her dad, but her sister was mean to the mother treated her horribly. I remember that the mother was throwing a party for the dad for i think his birthday or something and wanted the h there to set up for the party. When the h would say she couldn't at the time the mother berated her about how she was ungrateful. She comes to the party with th H an a course the mother, sister, or both was not happy about it. I think the H was out to get the dad but not sure.
Another thing I remember was that the h went into the kitchen to get the ketchup for i think her dad and the mother was in there and started in on her as usual a d the H was outside the door listening and eventually went in to save the h. They went outside an in the shadows while everyone was around had sex with the h up against the house.
Later in the book she finds out that she was given to her dad after a card game while he was in China on business ( with the law or something about not having more then one girl) he took her home an raised her. At first the h doesn't believe it and goes to her dad's house an walks in an up the steps by her sister without paying her any mind (i think the sister my say that she is sorry) and straight to her dad's office/study to confront him where he admits the truth to her.

That is all that i remember. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
