I haven't actually completed this book yet and it's unlikely to be finished by tomorrow, so will come back and comment on this once I've read it.

I'm enjoying the book so far (I am currently in part 4) and I think the rating will probably get to 5 ⭐ by the end. I'm not really getting soap opera vibes from the book though - it's definitely science fiction for me!

Yeah, I just finished. I think that space opera focuses on relationships and lots of adventure. I think it does have those characteristics, but they aren't in an over the top manner that is characteristics of soap operas.

I will definitely continue the series.
