Hello fellow Bookworms! It's finally September, my favourite month! And I'm very excited that this months read falls into this most beautiful time of year (at least in my humble opinion ;D). A lot of people have said that Persuasion is their favourite Austen, so of course I'm very curious to hear all about your thoughts!
Happy reading everyone! Xx

Весна | 5 comments I read it two months ago for the first time and I'm going to re-read it :). Yes, I liked it that much. This book is usually at the top or at the very bottom of someone's JA rank list.
Yay, happy reading :)

p.s. According to season I totally agree with you. That kind of weather we'll have in late October. In Serbia this summer was and still is terribly hot.

:)

I'm so sorry to reply to late! I really enjoyed Persuasion, probably because I can identify with Anne Elliot quite a bit. And it was one of my favourite relationships! I liked that Captain Wentworth and Anne knew each other so well and that Anne decided, although broken hearted, to look forward and make the best of her life.

Hope january weather is kind to you! It is unusually warm here in Germany and my grandma just informed me that the tulips already start growing^^ Xx

Oh I can't remember, but there were a lot. I do think Jane Austen recycled her names a lot^^

Весна | 5 comments The same here, tulips, snowdrops and violetes had already opened the season. No snow this winter so far. This is the firt snowless winter in my entire life actually. In 2012 we even had a state of emergency because of the really low temperature and the huge amount of snow. The Danube River was frozen...And now this, tulips and other flowers :).

I'm so glad you liked Persuasion. While I was reading it for the first time I thought it was shame that Anne Elliot didn't have self-help books or some kind of counseling psychology at that time. I was like: ''Oh, dear Anne you have to learn how to set your boundaries and stand up for yourself.''

Oh, and I almost forgot the love letter. The Love Letter :).

Surely, Persuasion and P&P are the ones which I'll re-read over and over again :).
