After missing the whole month of nominations (my fault entirely), now you have a chance to nominate new contenders for a book of the month in the non-fiction section of our bookshelf.

As usual, if you lack inspiration, you can take a look at our thread Books Nominated So Far. It would be nice to hear some new ideas though. (not saying I wouldn't like the old ones too!)

I would like to add two new stories to our to-read pile: Alive: The Story of the Andes Survivors and A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail.

Oh, that would make an interesting read. The movie is still in development, but there are certainly some documentaries that we can attach to the book.

Blueberry (blueberry1) Oh, I did forget about the no movie. Probably because I saw a PBS documentary.

I just saw an interview for Papillon. I am shocked they really did a remake of such a classic as Papillon from 1973 is, but then they remade Ben-Hur, not only once but gazillion times. This bit would be an appropriate post somewhere else if both movies aren't actually based on a real non-fiction book, Papillon. It would be an interesting addition to this poll, don't you think?
