Iris believes everyone should be allowed to do as they please. This philosophy mostly came about because her mother who likes to micromanage everything. Iris's mother likes everything to be perfect and will hardly let Iris do anything she wants despite the fact that Iris is now an adult. So in that concept, Iris is extremely bitter. Iris tends to keep to herself and prefers seclusion to social gatherings. Another thing that drives her mother completely insane.
Iris has an idea of what she wants for her future, and that future means leaving a lot of the magic world behind. This horrifies both of her parents. So now they are desperately trying to get Iris to stay and take up the family name. They want her to marry a nice wizard and give them both lots of grandchildren. Iris doesn't wan a family. She wants to move to New York and become an artist in the human world. She wants more than a husband and four kids to drain away the rest of her life. Description: Iris was named for the color of her eyes, but seeing as her mother didn't like the name Olive, she was named Iris. This was the first time her mother micromanaged Iris's life and it would not be the last. Iris grew up being told what she couldn't do every second of the day. 'Don't pick that up Iris. Don't get your dress dirty Iris. Don't speak unless spoken to Iris. Don't slouch Iris. Don't make a mess Iris.' Eventually it became to much because Iris was never perfect enough for her mother. This was when Iris was about eight. She became what her mother called a demon child. Much like her next door neighbor, Gillian. A boy who was about her age. Iris began rolling around in mud in her spare time, disappearing for hours, and finger painting with her mother's nail polish. It drove her mother absolutely insane. Eventually Iris mellowed a bit and became more manageable for her mother to begin controlling again.
To outsiders, Iris now looks like a perfect daughter. A perfect girl with a kind heart that makes everybody swoon with her innocent look. But that couldn't be further from the truth. Iris still drives her mother crazy by wanting a future in the human world. Iris spouts bitchy, sarcastic, and raunchy comments at home like she is giving food away to the poor. Iris plans on being an artist in the human world, and is actually quite good at painting. But for now she is stuck under her mother's tyranny.

Allen has dark brown hair, that he more often than not dies to the color of blue or pink. To go with his natural hair he has eyes that people usually describe as Teddy Bear Brown. Which, of course, he takes as a compliment. Standing at 6'1'' he's taller then most, but every now and again he may have to look up at the occasional person. He has a quite small frame, but his muscles are quite defined and they work just fine thank you. His nationality, from his dad's sign, is 40% Peruvian, he has a slightly natural tan, but he's more on the pale side. To say that Allen is vain or selfish would only be hitting the top of the iceberg. He’s not afraid to tell you how he feels about you, or your outfit, and he has a big mouth. Often times he doesn’t know the moment to shut up, which often gets him into trouble where it counts. Occasionally he can manage to give out a compliment or two, but that’s a rarity in itself. Every now and then he likes to help people out in affairs of love, giving them a complete makeover and setting them up. Often times this works out, other times it’s a bit of a fail, but that never seems to slow him down.
Generally Allen can be known as the leader of the group, and whether he’s liked by all isn’t really much of a concern for him. He has a pretty bubbly personality that attracts people to him, but often ‘causes others to roll their eyes at him and his silliness. He’s not afraid to be himself in front of others, and he’s an open book when it comes down to it. Despite loving to be around others he likes to have some free time and be by himself every once in a while, whether occasionally canoeing in the lake or reading a book every now and then.

[Lies and Deceit]
When Patrick, Allen’s father and Elena, his mother, first met they were lying to both themselves and each other. Patrick was claiming to be human, and so was she. Being a wizard that had left her family as soon as high school was over she thought it would be fun to have a little fun with the human. After all, she couldn’t get pregnant so easily with a human right? Wrong. Due to their false identities she soon fell pregnant, and there could only be one reason as to why. Having fallen in love with Patrick she felt as if she’d been absolutely betrayed- despite lying herself- and she didn’t dare to hear him out as she disappeared to the small town of Beaumont with her son soon on the way. She felt a small sense of relief that Patrick hadn’t followed her, but at the same time there was the feeling of pity, and self-doubt. She truly never wanted to be a mother, and yet this was happening, and she wouldn’t dare to destroy a part of herself.
[Returning Home]
After splitting Patrick returned to Eden, in Colorado to his mansion that had been left to him by his parents. Meanwhile Allen was being raised in a shabby little apartment, completely happy, but feeling as if he was missing a part of himself. When his powers began to show he was panicked, but he didn’t turn to his mother right away. Doing his best he kept it to himself, until the day their bathroom floor completely split apart after a rough day at school. This he couldn’t hide from his mother, and he was just thankful that they were on the bottom floor. When he explained what had happened to Elena she broke down, finally telling him the truth, all from the beginning, and holding nothing back. She promised him she’d help him to control it, but when he heard about Elysium he shook his head in refusal. He wanted to go to this school. And live with his dad. At this she did her best to refuse, but soon plans were made and he was moved to Colorado. Not wanting to send her son off to some strange town she promised she’d be moving there soon, just as she had enough money to afford some small place.
[Adjusting]
It’s safe to say that Allen had a hard time adjusting to the new place. A town full of people just like him… but that he didn’t know…? Arriving at his fathers house he was astounded to find that the other half of him was completely rich. Which was also a large adjustment. Even when choosing a room in the large estate he chose the smallest one, which Patrick had found completely strange. Surprisingly Allen found himself quickly adjusting within his first few years. Having money just grew on him. When his mother came to town he was barely the loving grateful boy he was before. He quickly realized this and began to become the new old him. She moved in with him and his father, but it really wasn’t any sort of reunion, being they always avoided each other whenever they’re in the house at the same time. Allen doesn’t so much mind though. He doesn’t hold out false hope they’ll ever be getting back together.

Description: He lived a pretty average life, similar to most humans in fact. He was a little pyromaniac when he was young, starting small camp fires in their fire pit. His parents warned him to stay away from the water, but he hated being told what not to do. Even though the water scared him for some reason, he jumped into a lake. His father jumped in after him, giving Brendon a floatation device. Brendon made it to the shore, but when he looked out onto the water, his father never broke the surface. After this tragedy, his mother told him what he really was, a wizard. They moved to be closer to Elysium, and Brendon now takes care of his mother.
