I had the sense that she was just as amoral as he was, and she wanted some sense of power over him and his operation.
She was a brain muddled addict. In her right mind she'd have known this guy was bad news. Eileen the nurse and Rawlings the prison guard certainly did. She showed up to her meet with Kevlar and a helmet.
Again, she'd been his girlfriend for awhile and knew about his drug operation and blackmailing. It was really dumb to take this risk.
