The investigation had many elements considering that The Professor had a drug enterprise and a pedophile film operation. Was it difficult to follow or were the procedurals handled logically? Your thoughts about the investigation as a whole?

That was incredible but gave him the cover and connections he needed.

I loved the investigation and how it was cobbled together by the different team members on the task force. Really was interesting.

The police had two distinct operations to investigate. The procedurals were handled great and I didn't notice any oblivious plot manipulations. Given that this guy had a vast network and didn't hesitate to kill anyone as either revenge, as a message, or to tie up a loose end, the police and FBI had a lot to cover.

I agree, Anita. This case had a lot of tentacles and law enforcement did a great job working together.

This was one of the easier plot and associated characters to follow in this series. Maybe because we are a couple of books into this arc so the main characters are familiar. I did have to stretch my mind back to some of the secondary characters such as Kendra and Meredith though.
