I could hardly fathom that he also had a medical practice that appeared to be respectable on the outside.
That was incredible but gave him the cover and connections he needed.
I loved the investigation and how it was cobbled together by the different team members on the task force. Really was interesting.

The police had two distinct operations to investigate. The procedurals were handled great and I didn't notice any oblivious plot manipulations. Given that this guy had a vast network and didn't hesitate to kill anyone as either revenge, as a message, or to tie up a loose end, the police and FBI had a lot to cover.
I agree, Anita. This case had a lot of tentacles and law enforcement did a great job working together.
