Buy books written by Mantoo. You eont find someone better than him! (In my pov tho)
1. The Kite Runner2. A Thousand Splendid Suns
Both by Khalid Husseini, written in the background of Afganistan during the civil war, followed by Taliban rule in Afghanistan. Interesting stories, with glimpses of Afghan life and culture.

A case of exploding mangoes has a poorly written plot. One gets lost in the maze. You won’t find any exploding mangoes either. Don’t waste your time over this book
I read Maps for Lost Lovers by Nadeem Aslam, and didn't like it at all. Also,Kamila Shamsie's first book,In the City by the Sea,was disappointing.
Similarly, didn't like The Prisoner,by Omar Shahid Hamid.
Hi everyone. I hope you are all doing well and are safe and healthy. I have just released my new book, "A Novel" which is a cozy mystery/romance/life adventure/bildungsroman and if I were to describe it in one sentence; it is about a woman finding herself. It is currently on heavy new release sale on smashwords, kobo, nook and apple for 0.99c, and FREE on KU, and on discount for $2.99 on kindle select. I am looking for reviews, and my target audience are females, 18 onwards, and I especially would like to reach readers from our own country. If anyone likes this genre and would like a free ebook emailed in order to review, please DM me (those who don't have kindle and avail KU) and I shall send you one.Thank you,

My name is Ana and I'm from Portugal.
I am a book lover and I have this kind of desire to read a book from every country in the world. I mean, I realize that I really know many american and european writters, but I don’t know many books from another places of the world.
In that sense, I think the best option is to talk with people from that countries and ask them to suggest me the best books and writters (not in a comercial perspective, but with a good story and that help me to understand/know the countries and their cultures a little bit more).
This way, I would like to ask you: which books from Pakistan do you can suggest me?
Thank you so much!
