2014 Book Blogger Summer Reading Program Group discussion

How did your June go? Read any good books? Any Favorites? Have any to recommend? Are you still on track to meet, or surpass, your summer goal?

Well, I'll go first. :D

My June was GREAT. I read another 25 books. I'm now 57/75 (76% & 21 books ahead of schedule) so I think I'll be surpassing my goal. :)

I read a ton of good or great books in July, most recently the newest Robyn Carr ~ The Promise & Maya Banks ~ When Day Breaks, and the ARC of Carr's next book due out in Aug ~ The Homecoming. During the month, I also really enjoyed ~ The Wicked We Have Done, Game of Fear, Her Last Whisper, The Witness & Splintered.

I went through a dry spell for about three weeks this month and didn't pick it up until this last week where I read almost 3 LONG books in a row! But I'm still way ahead of my goal, but I think I underestimated my reading binges lol.

I read Daughter of Smoke and Bone and thought it was beautifully written, and then I read Stolen Songbird and fell head over heels! That book was an absolute gem! Now I'm reading The Queen of the Tearling, and I'm loving it even more than I thought it would! It's an amazing fantasy!
