Acelin looked at the spot where Elijah's hand hit the dirt. There was blood, some really old burried trash nearly forty meters underground, but nothing that could give him tetanus or something else. "Okay, well I cleaned your hand with alcohol and there doesn't seem to be any glass or other debris that could have ended up in your hand. Can I see the knife you were using?" She asked.

Acelin's first mode of action was to clean to blade with an alcohol wipe. After all the blood was gone she then turned her attention to the hilt. She figured that the leather might have been wrapped wrong, or tied off too loose, but she found nothing wrong with it. She handed him the dagger holy first, holding the blade in her hand. "Pro tip: memorize words before you memorize actions. Or memorize actions before you memorize words. Either way, don't do two things at the same time." She said simply, feeling like she had finished her job. "What spell we're you even trying to do?"

Acelin found that absolutely hilarious, but she didn't show a single sign of it. "Well then I suggest you work on less advanced spells. Sometimes it's the basics that really save the day." She told him, thinking about when Harry Potter thought it was a FANTASTIC idea to use a simple disarming spell against a team of serial killers.

Acelin shrugged. "It's fine, can't say risks shouldn't be taken." She said simply, reassuring him that he wasn't wrong for trying. When he asked about cabin three. "Just a little family tension between the Poseidon kids." She answered simply.

((I am dying of exhaustion, I'll probably be drifting into sleep soon so my posts might be spaced out a little more))

Acelin nodded, noticing he was drifting off into thought. "Hate to pry, but are you having some sibling problems yourself?" She asked, hoping he wouldn't ask her about her own siblings. Which, as far as she was concerned, probably didn't exist.

Acelin just nodded in agreement. "Understandable. People suck." She said simply. "Anyways about your hand, I know it may be tempting to take the bandages off but don't. Doing so will reopen the wound and unless you really want to die a slow and painful yet non heroic death, just keep it on. After about a week it should be fully healed up and you can take it off. If the bandage gets wet or is ripped off then wrap it in clean bandages., tight enough to restrict blood flow but not enough to completely block it." She said, telling him what to do about his hand. "Also don't try to do anything that requires quick, strenuous, or dynamic finger movement as it can eventually loosen the bandage."

Acelin nodded. "Asically everyone here is a freak of sorts. You could try learning a minor healing spell to maybe speed up the healing process, but of course you're the magical one, not me." She said simply. "Yep, now you know who brought you into this messed up world." She said, nodding. She herself didn't have any interest in knowing her dad, but at least know she knew who he was.

"Yep." She said simply, not offering any more information. "She could have at least used all those fantastic magical powers of yours to contact you every once in a while. Drop in to say happy birthday or something." She continued, shrugging. "Of course the gods don't exactly have a reputation for being strong parental figures."

Acelin nodded. She didn't care if Eli knew or not, she just answered his question. He didn't ask who, he just asked if she knew. She wasn't one to give out unevessary information, to run around telling everyone she was a daughter of Hades. She didn't care if he was her dad or not, it was just me winformation to her that allowed her to understand her life better. "She's not one of the major 12 either, so it's not like she's super busy. She's not constantly growing something or ruling over the oceans." She said simply. "Human parents suck. Godly parents suck. Parents suck in general."

"Even if there is favoritism it's not like irl affect you negatively, those that actually have Hecate there to coddle them won't have a reason o get better." She said simply. "But that's very unlikely, everyone has parent issues when one of them is an immortal deity."

Acelin nodded, smiling slightly. "I just wanted to get away from my 'family', and well that worked out, and then I ended up in a different country homeless and moneyless." She said, shrugging. "But if that mess of a situation can work out, then in sure yours will too." She said comfortingly. "You'll end up bunking with a mortal in Texas or something, worrying about your next Chemistry exam. Hecate is a minor goddess, you can still live a normal life." She told him, picking up a rock and throwing it into the river to watch the water ripple. "You should start thinking about what university you want to go to."

leon approached and said "hey! ace! c'mere i would like to show you something"

Acelin rolled her eyes and groaned under her breath. "Not now Leon I'm kind of busy."

leon shuffled his feet in embarasment and said "your right im sorry ill wait until you are done" and walked over to the river and began training with his abilities

Acelin sighed, seeing Eli shut down and blank out. "Fine Leon, what did you want to show me?" She asked, monotonously.

"well i know you will think im show off but first: what is your favorite object?" he said (just go with it my character has a crush on her)

Acelin sighed. "Books." She said simply, already knowing she was probably going to dislike it.

She wasn't a particular fan of using powers for power sake. She rarely used her powers just to try them out, and they always had a purpose. If she was going to experiment she did it in private and absolutely hated showing other people what she could do.

Acelin took the book. "Yeah, I already have a copy but it's really old and worn and not really legible, thanks." She said, putting it in her backpack. "If you're talking about weapons or statues...I would say those stone Buddha statues you put in gardens are pretty cool."

"well i know you cant take this with you but here" he said as he raised his arms and concentrated, creating a giant buddha statue of about the same size as the athena parthenos

Acelin assumed the statue was hollow. She just nodded, and smiled softly. The water didn't allow much detail, but she could see it. "Yeah Leon, it looks nice."

"i also wanted to say thank you for talking to me bout pj and theo back at the cabin" he said and began making a heart in the water

Acelin quickly saw where this was going, and started to internally panic. She didn't react outwardly though. "No problem." She said simply.

"look i know its a little sudden but i dont want you to say anything yet just think about it i was wondereing if you would like to go out sometime" he said nervously

Acelin tried to be as polite and honest as possible with her response. "I don't think I'm ready for a romantic relationship right now." She said simply. "Sorry."

Acelin saw Eli start towards the other side of the training grounds, and was tempted to run after him. "Leon..." she sighed, "I'm really sorry but I have to go see what's bothering Eli." She said finally, making her decision. "I'll see you in the Poseidon cabin, okay?" She asked as she started to turn around to go after Eli. "Tell PJ and Theo I said hi!" She yelled back as she jogged towards Eli. Once she was next to him she slowed down. "Hey, what's wrong?" She asked, not breathless.

Acelin shook her head. "No, I totally understand. I personally don't like to use any of my abilities out in the open unless it's absolutely necessary." She said honestly. "And for the romance thing, I can totally sympathize. I don't like people."

Acelin sighed. "Yeah...I don't know, I think it was just because I helped him with his half sister and he could be mixing up romantic feelings with feelings of appreciation..." she muttered. "Either way, I'm sure he wouldn't wan to date me if he actually got to know me, so it's fine."

leon understood, heartbroken, but understood he tried for a smile and said "ok then can you see if that demigod would spar with me please?"

Merlyn trotted into the training grounds where he found some leftover bandages, so he wrapped up his elbows and knees , but not very neatly.

He then proceeded as if nothing had happened and grabbed his last throwing knife. he flung the projectile at full force towards a target, missing by a long shot. his shoddy bandage job had left his throwing arm unable to throw correctly

leon approached the training area and began practicing

leon approached the training grounds, upon reaching them he began to pratice his acrobatics he started with a thrust punch and leaped and twisted against an imaginary oppenent and practiced his kungfu until well into the night then he stepped into the river, rejuvenated he went back to his cabin to think of his strategy

after sparing with a water clone, leon took to practicing on a wooden dummy, after he took the head off with a stiff upercut, he sat on a ledge a bove the entry knowing she wouldn't see his feet
