Bill | 192 comments After browsing at the library I checked The Eye of God (Sigma Force #9) by James Rollins only to find out when I got home that it seems to be #9 in a series. Not sure if it will stand alone or not, not optimistic now.

Mike (mikekeating) I'm still reading the Eye of the World. And I began His Last Vow, the last book in the original Holmes canon.

I have been busy traveling so I've started 3 books but have not accomplished finishing them.

On the plane I was reading "A Study in Scarlet" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyal. At work I stared "Guns, Germs, and Steel" by Jared Diamond, and I just started "Reservation Blues" by Sherman Alexie for a book club.

I stared reading Reservation Blues many years ago and could not get into it. For another book club I just read "The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven". While I wasn't a big fan of that book the same characters are in Reservation Blues so I have more interest in it this time.

I started reading Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt a book all about the weirdness that is the modern stock market. So far there is nothing new that I had not already known from paying attention to the market news. But the book is much more detailed.

Bill | 192 comments I like everything about The Hundred-Foot Journey by Richard C. Morais ; Indian food, France and a soon to be released movie starring Helen Mirren whom I've admired from her role in "Caligula" right up to her Oscar winning performance as "The Queen". So I do want to read the book before the movie comes out next month.

I've been reading 1984 by George Orwell and not really enjoying it. I have less than 100 pages and just want it finished! I still need to read Animal Farm sometimes, so I hope it is more enjoyable.

I'm training for a Half Marathon and I'm using the Galloway Training Program in a group program. If you have any interest in running you may actually enjoy it. He has some good philosophies and is focused on remaining injury free.
