Page 54 (view spoiler)[ such a cliche tbh...like its soo damn expected...they fall on e/o and they're going to end up together; that's it. and dont get me started on her stuttering because jeez. so obvious and i dont get where her random crush is coming from. however, i truly want to love this book and not let these feelings get in the way so lets see how this goes (hide spoiler)]

Prologue: (view spoiler)[ I feel bad for Hudson already but I don't think blowing the skating competition was the best answer. She didn't just ruin it for herself, but for everyone on her team as well. (hide spoiler)]

17%: (view spoiler)[ I'm loving these chapter titles. And the story is very cutesy so far. I have a feeling she's going to end up going for that competition. And teaching the cute boy how to skate ;) (hide spoiler)]

35%: (view spoiler)[I get wanting to help out your family, but her mom really needs to see that this isn't what Hudson wants to do.Also, her dad seemed really into being a dad, but just up and disappears when they divorce? Is there no such thing as child support? (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 5 (view spoiler)[ This book is going too slow for my taste..thats why its taking me soo long to go through...Its good so far...very cliche and expected though which is something i dont always point out or am annoyed with. hopefully it picks up sooner. However, I'm still confused about what exactly happened b/w Hud and Kara after that closet thing (hide spoiler)]

48%: (view spoiler)[Pretty sure getting involved with Will isn't going to end well. Also, pretty sure Abby isn't Josh's girlfriend but something more serious - like a sick sister or something. And what was Kara going to tell her??? (hide spoiler)]

65%: (view spoiler)[I think Hudson should listen to Kara about Will. She obviously doesn't really like him and she obviously likes Josh, so grow up. She also needs to talk to her mom. Cause the blowup is pretty predictable at this point. She's taking on too much and lying too much. It's all going to blow up. (hide spoiler)]

82%: (view spoiler)[ wow wills a real piece of work, isn't he? What a douche for wanting to sell out the team. I get that you want to get out of town but stepping on your friends isn't the way to do that. (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[It was cute. I really liked the friendships that were established but I wasn't a fan of Hudson. Her idea to save her mom's diner was kinda brilliant for being on the fly. And, hey, talking to her mom actually worked - imagine that. (hide spoiler)]

I was too into the book to post updates through the book so this is the whole thing here goes lol... (view spoiler)[ Hudson wasn't that great...she blew off alot of people and her "i want to get out of watonka speech got boring" i get where she was coming from but she was going to extremes and therefore, she isn't my fav character...i also hate how she plays will because no matter what he was/did , he still really liked her and didnt *just* use her. it shown subtly but its there. Josh is an angel that she doesn't deserve that much but she gets points for liking him soo much even though she ended up with Will for awhile...that was something I did NOT expect. i didnt think it would be like a real relationship; i thought Will was going to prove to be a douchebag friend/teammate and boyfriend but it was mostly teammate. Hudson also annoyed me with what she did to Kara and never apologizing or explaining. it would have been easy to be like: yeah whatever if Kara was one of those plastic, typical, mean girls but she's not....expecially as a mathlete (i love math so its not a bad thing just doesnt fit with stereotypes). anyways, Hudson hurt Dani alot which was unfair. Her mom kind of got on my nerves with the extra shifts because i have a friend in a similar position but she doesnt care about working even when her schoolwork suffers. i honestly didnt expect her to still end up with Josh and i was going to get annoyed by it but i seriously doubted it at the end...it was cute though; the ending so yeah! I'm up to Chapter 6.


(view spoiler)[It sucks that her father is a pig. I feel bad for her little brother since he doesn't know what happened. It's nice that she is skating again but I don't think she should hide it. (hide spoiler)]

Hudson's "best friend" is mad at her so she runs off and starts hanging out with people she normally doesn't like. I'm annoyed that Hudson is off fooling around with Will even though she really likes Josh. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Overall this was a good read. I still think there was too much pettiness going on. I'm just glad that they all got their crap together in the end. That is the only reason I gave this a 3 star rating. (hide spoiler)]
