Okie doke! Wanna have them at the Blackwood residence?

Okay! I'll post first! ^.^

Liora was readying dinner as her brothers went out hunting for whatever they could find. Or rather, what they could gather in bushes such as berries and such. She stood by the counter and chopped a few vegetables. During the past weeks that Zander stayed with the elves, it was slowly and steadily becoming more and more normal to have him around. Even his sister occasionally popped by to see how they were doing. But during those weeks, her father was called to some important matters every night and her mother was busy with helping some friend she knew. So while Liora cut through each vegetable, she whistled softly to herself and slowly made the dinner.

Even his sister occasionally popped by to see how they were doing. Zander came down stairs messing with his newly tailored suit. He just didn't feel right not having the weight of his armor on his shoulders but he knew the outfit would help people see him as normal. He walked behind Liora and careful steadied the knife before he kissed her neck. "Morning." He said smiling

Liora chuckled and turned to face him, saying, "Don't you mean 'evening'? It's officially sunset and I'm about to get dinner ready." She squinted her eyes at him. "Just how long have you been sleeping up there for anyway?"

Zander sighed. "Too long." He said with a chuckle. ((Sorry but I have to go to sleep see ya tomorrow))

"Obviously," Liora said with a joking smile as she picked the knife up and continued with her chopping. Glancing at him from the corner of her eyes, she asked, "So, how has that sound of yours holding up? It's been a while since I've checked it. And I know mother would have a fit if she knew it was healing well."

Zander chuckled. "It's holding." He said grabbing an apple. "Where's Sarah?" He asked before taking a bite out of the apple.

"I think she said it was out somewhere. . ." Liora trailed off when Sarah never told her where she'd be going. Eyes widening, she faced Zander. "I actually don't know where she is. Didn't she say anything to you? Perhaps she's sleeping. Yes, that has to be it."

Zander shrugged. "She's probably wrapped around Melios leg." He said chuckling. "She looks at his like he's her second brother really." He added. He looked at Liora. "So we go plans this afternoon?" He asked her.

Liora laughed at his comment and nodded. "Probably. And no doubt he would be such a sweetheart to her. She's in good hands with my brothers." At his question, Liora cocked her head to the side and said, "Why not? How about after dinner? We could go. . . Hm. I don't know." She quickly kissed his cheek and resumed her chopping. "How about you choose? You always pick the best places."

Zander thought for a minute. "We could take the afternoon patrol." He said looking at her. "Or of course we could go to the training grounds." He said with a shrug.

"The training grounds would work the best. Especially since most of the patrols are out and about. So we'll have the grounds all to ourselves!" Liora said to Zander, chopping faster in an attempt to speed the process.
Soon, her brothers came back home, empty handed, and Sarah was most definitely clinging on Meloi.
"We found her not too far away," he said to them, picking up Sarah carefully. "And apparently, she likes me the best."
"Like that was any news," Herol said, rolling his eyes. "What are you making Liora?"
"Oh, just a salad." She frowned. "And you didn't bring home any berries? That's a shame."

Zander looked at them. "You're looking for berries?" He asked them. "There are some about a mile to the left of the forest line." He told them. "I got some dried ones in my bag if you want to use those." He said.

Meloi let out a large scowl, crossing his arms as Liora chuckled silently. "You could've told us that a lot sooner before we hunted."
"Zander was sleeping while you were of so he wouldn't have had the chance to tell you," Liora reminded him, dumping the veggies into a different bowl. "But I do need those berries, otherwise it won't be at all delicious. So if Zander wants to allow us to use his. . . I have no quarry with that."

Zander chuckled. "I'd be happy to." He said walking upstairs. He grabbed the berries and started walking back down stairs.

Sarah picked up silver and started running around the house carrying her around like a baby.

"Thank you," Liora said, grateful towards Zander for giving up his berries. They definitely had to do something special for tonight. Especially since he had done plenty around the residence. Finally having dinner ready, she placed the rather large bowl on the table and everyone sat down on their normal spots. Once settled, Liora asked a question to Herol, "Mother and father aren't coming?"
"I'm afraid not. Mum is still busy with that friend and father was attending some patrols."

Zander nodded. He looked at his sister and chuckled as she stared at the food with a bit of drool going down her mouth. "Guess you didn't eat that much with the merchant?" He asked with a joke.

Sarah shook her head and waited for them to tell her dinner was served.

Liora laughed at Sarah and handed her the bowl. "Since you are our guest, you can have the first scoop."
"But I'm hungry." Meloi whined as he winked at Sarah.
Liora only glared at her brother from across the table. "She is our guest. And besides, you and Herol are the only ones who eat the most from the pantry anyway."
"He bullied me into it!" Meloi exclaimed.
"Like everyone's going to believe that," Herol said, rolling his eyes while removing his armor and placed it behind his chair.

Zander chuckled. He looked around the room and finally felt at home. He removed his armor and set it behind his chair. He looked around and smiled. "I'm glad you accepted me and my sister here." He said.

Sarah dug into the food and gorged herself and found herself stuff soon before she was even done. She fell back in her chair and passed out asleep.

"Hm?" Liora said, at first not recalling his comment. Then she turned her head and gazed at him fondly. "Me too! I mean, I would hate knowing that you were out and about, doing who knows what, and it could have you killed." She paused for a moment, realizing that perhaps Zander wasn't enjoying it here. Or maybe he would have to leave soon for whatever reason, and while a part of her never wanted to let him go, she knew that he wanted to, that she shouldn't stop him. If anything, she could just tag along. "Zander? Do you. . . like being here?" She asked, not quite meeting his eyes. "If you didn't, you would tell me, right?"

Zander looked at her. "I love being here. I will still go on adventures but I'll always come back." He said sincerely.

Liora bit her lip then resumed her smile. "Good! I know you will. . . but I just wanted to know." She clapped her hands together. "Alright then, let us eat!"
The meal overall could've used a lot more berries but it didn't taste too bad. Even though Meloi and Herol were quietly sending their food into their napkins.
"It wasn't good, was it?" Liora asked them, finishing up the remaining hits of salad.
"At least you tried," Herol said comfortingly, as he cleared his throat. "Well, I think he three will retire for the evening. Come on you two." He gestured to both Meloi and Sarah while standing up from his chair.
"But why?" Meloi pouted, studying Liora and Zander with a mischievous smile. "I wanna make sure these two don't do anything they shouldn't. Like stealing some bread from an unsuspecting traveler."
"Oh you're horrible!" Liora exclaimed as she walked up to Meloi and smacked him with her napkin all the while he tried to snag Sarah and exit the dining room.
Sighing, Liora plopped back down on her chair and rested her forehead of her fingers. "I do hope mother and father come back soon. That way, Meloi isn't more rowdy than normal."

Zander nodded. "Hey Liora. I was wondering. When I go on an adventure I was wondering if you wanted to come?" He asked.

Liora was startled by the question. Would she go with him? What about her family and how would they be able to get by without her? Worst of all: how could they manage Meloi without her? "I would," Liora replied, surprising even herself. "You're the man I love and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else without you." She carefully took his hands and held them. "I would need to see if it's fine with my parents though, if you were planning to leave. But yes, I would go anywhere with you."

Zander nodded. He pulled her into a hug. "I will understand if you can't." He said. "I want you to be happy." He added. "You're my love of my life. I will do anything for you." He admitted. "I will always come back to you." He said kissing her forehead.

"Thank you," Liora said softly, closing her eyes and trying to soak in the moment. She was grateful to know that he would at least return to her no matter the circumstances. Eyes brightening, she pulled away from Zander's comforting hold and said to him, "Perhaps we should go to the training grounds now?"

Zander smiled. "Sure." He said before grabbing his armor. He looked at Liora and smiled. He kissed her deeply before heading off to the training grounds. He smiled knowing she'd follow him.

Liora kissed him back and quickly followed Zander down to the training grounds. Thankfully, while Lothlorien was relatively peaceful, still held some grounds to train their soldiers in case of a time of need arose. They soon found their way to the ground floor of Lothlorien and one side held a stand of weaponry rather another held armor plating. In the middle was a glowing white tree which illuminated the area. Liora nudged Zander and said, "Well, now that we're here, what were you thinking ofndoing? Practing your hand at sword play perhaps? Or perhaps bows and arrows?

Zander looked around. "Honestly I just wanted to be around you." He admitted. "We haven't had much time alone since I arrived. Well not real alone time without someone trying to eavesdrop." He said. He sat down on one of the benches and looked at the training grounds.

"Whatever is fine with you is good with me," Liora replied, hooking her arm into his own as she led him towards the tree. "Was there anything you wanted to talk about?"

Zander shook his head. "I just wanted to spend some time with you." He said.

Zander looked at her. "How has your ankle been healing?" He asked her.

((Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry for the wait Zandraga! >.<))

"Hm?" Liora said, sidetrack with her own thoughts before answering Zander. "Oh it's fine. A bit sore but I'll manage just fine."

Zander looked at her and smiled. "Can I admit something?" He ask.

"Okay," Liora simply answered as she fiddled with her dress as she waited for him to say whatever he wanted to say.

Zander chuckled. "When we meet I was actually trying to head toward the dwarfs but I some how ended up in your forrest." He said chuckling.
