Pick for Me Challenge!!!

It's that time again. Who wants to play?

1. Create a new shelf or update your existing shelf on your bookshelf that includes approximtely 20 books that you would like to have someone use to pick a book for you to read. Books will only be selected from the shelf you choose.

2. Post in this thread that you want to participate and provide a link to you Pick For Me shelf. If you played last month, I have your link. If you skipped a month or are new to the challenge, please post a link to your shelf.

3. On the last day of the month I’ll use the randomizer to pair up everyone.

4. Friend your partner who is picking for you or set your profile to public or your partner will not be able to access your shelf.

5. Post your selection for your partner in this thread.

6. Come back after finishing the book selected for you by your partner (even if it's after the month has ended) and let everybody know what you think about it.

Sign up period will remain open until pairs are posted on September 30th and you'll have until October 5th to select a book for your partner.

Sorry guys. Struggling with Internet connection at home today. I really need my laptop to do this. It would be a nightmare on my phone.

When you can Fabi. Internet home issues SUCK. I've been there. :/

I had to completely replace my wireless router. And the new has some fancy fancy OS that took me hours to get configured correctly. I still have to work on my repeater. But I'm pooped.

Will try to do the draw after dinner if I don't pass out first. Soooorrry.

Eeew. New routers can be a pain. I've only had a successful first try with a wireless once. I think the only reason was that it was just a newer version of the old one. All sympathy and understanding with those stupid things. (And yes, I'm usually the one installing the stupid things. )

I looked through your bookshelf and I've only read a couple of those. I didn't rate them very high so I'm not going to pick them.

There is one that jumped out at me. Everything about it appealed to me. The cover, the title, the blurb. Sounds so good. So, read it and let me know. hahaha

I don't know! I'm torn between that, Red Queen, And How to Date a Douchbag 1. All three are five stars for me and were sincerely wonderful but in totally different ways! One is the PNR excitement mystery with a couple that makes my top five most romantic of all time, one is a fantasy that just riveted me from the start, and one was so funny and fun, with such an ass... So basically, PNR, higher fantasy though YA, or Funny with a total jerk.

Oh wow! I forgot we had the other challenge too. I have a lot of catching up to do! (good thing it's the fun kind of catching up!)

Fabi, that's the one that was picked for me in ?? ...some month--before everything went crazy. I would like to still read it for that month and get a different book for this month. Would that be okay? (Sorry. I forgot to update my list before I posted.)

Oh and Ela! We both own Crow, so that might be one to BR eventually (if my insane mafia need doesn't drive me to grab it first).

Ela-- I was looking back through the posts and saw this. This is my absolute favorite Megan Hart book! Although I'd be afraid to pick it for you because I begged someone to read it one time and they didn't love it like I did. I hate it when that happens!
