Blue Lake Academy discussion

This dormitory is for Astrid (Amanda) and Holly (Isaac). Astrid is studying Sports and Creative Arts, so she has writing/art supplies as well as some equipment. Holly is studying Creative Arts, so she has writing/art supplies and a few small instruments.

((Yeah sure, I can start))

Holly sat on her bed, watching some old French movie and eating cookies. She was captivated in it, and it made her think of her days spent in Paris. Pulling her duvet tighter around her, she heard a knock on the door.

Grumpily, Holly paused her movie and got up, brushing cookie crumbs off her dress. She pulled the door open to a girl with a suitcase. Her new roommate?

"Hi," she said, smiling. "My name's Holly."

"Cool. Well, uh, welcome in."

She walked over to her bed and sat down.

"I was actually just watching a film. We can watch it together, if you'd like. I'm not sure if you'd understand it, though. It's all in French."

Holly blushed through her pale skin. "Oh, cool."

She invited Astrid to sit on her bed, but didn't offer her any cookies. They began watching the movie in silence.

"So, where are you from?" Holly asked in a weak attempt at conversation.

Holly laughed. "Well, I'm kind of from everywhere. I grew up in London but moved to Paris for a few years. We also stayed in Munich and St. Petersburg for a while. We moved around a lot, I guess."

She got up and walked to the fridge as the movie played on. "Want a drink?"

Holly caught Astrid rolling her eyes and wondered if she should be offended or not. She let it slide.

"Ok," she said, pouring herself a glass of chocolate milk. "What classes are you taking?"

Taking a sip of her drink, Holly sat back down beside Astrid. "I can't remember exactly what classes I'm in, but I think I'm doing a few extra languages and sciences besides my usual English and maths etc. I'm a bit of a nerd, I volunteered to take more classes during weekends and after school."

"Cool. I'm into art and stuff. Sports really aren't my thing, though." Holly was definitely the most unathletic person she knew. She preferred studying with a bag of crisps than going out and doing any kind of physical activity, to be honest.

"Oh, I like drawing and sketching. I find paints really hard to use."

The film credits started rolling so she clicked off it and started scrolling through Netflix for another film.

"What about you?"
