Kathy I am waiting for a copy from the library. Halloween is my favorite time of the year. I have never met a ghost but have been to Gettysburg, the Stanley Hotel, and Marie Laveau's grave in New Orleans. All interesting places historically to visit.

Mindy Jones (mindyrecycles) My libraries don't have it...where did you find yours, carissa?

I don't believe in the supernatural at all, but I too enjoy reading scary stories in October. My RL book club is starting Carrie.

ConnieD (bookwithcat) My library didn't have this, so I got another bell witch book so I'll at least get the the idea.

I'll have to start checking availability before I vote. I keep voting for books that sound good but are hard to get :)

Kathy I finally got a copy from the library. It seems little rural libraries in GA have copies of this book.

I was so surprised when my local library Did have this book! I also have access to a "county" library system where multiple libraries are linked into one system, but they didn't have it, as well as a much larger single library that also did not have it. But none of them so far have next month's book so I'm going to have to get creative. But that's part of the fun of this group though, right? Finding unknown treasures :)

Kerri PS - I am starting this book today; anyone else there yet?

Kathy I am half way through the book. I am surprised how casual the family and surrounding neighbors took the haunting. It is like the poltergeist almost becomes a member of the community.

Right? That really surprised me. I was sitting there the whole time wondering what was Wrong with everyone that they just become so accepting and casual with a disembodied voice who is constantly hurting two members of the family??
