The author for The Charlatan: The Skeptical, Mysterious, Supernatural True Story of a Christian Magician links to Jim Munroe, a Canadian science fiction author who is not the religious magician behind The Charlatan.

I know that Wikipedia is not a real source for anything, but see "Jim Munroe, the science fiction author, should not be confused with Jim Munroe, the American magician." (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_M...) Also just the fact that these two people are so wildly different I don't think you'd be able to read from both and conclude they're the same person.
