3. November 10 is USMC Day and November 11 is Veteran's Day: Read a book that features someone serving their country such as a soldier or army nurse, a veteran, or which is set during a war (real or fictional). - The Ghost and Mrs. Mewer by Krista Davis (Dave the police officer was in the Army)
4. November 13 is World Kindness Day, November 16 International Tolerance Day, November 17 World Peace Day, and November 21 is World Hello Day: Read a book set in a country other than your own. - Killer Crust by Chris Cavender

2. October is National Scrapbook Month, and October 7 is World Card Making Day: Read a book that involves paper crafts (cardmaking, decoupage, quilling, scrapbooking, stamping).
