I'm here! Any help that is needed, just let me know. I'm around in and out all day and night.
I work from home, as an editor. So I'm always on the computer.
Hello!! I'm Paula, I'm from Chile, I just finished university so I'm unemployed and have a lot of free time. I read 1-2 books a week (it always depends on the book)How are we going to organize?
Hey ladies, I'm Abbie, I currently live in Texas in the DFW area. I work a lot, but I still get quite a bit of reading in. So you will see me in the wee hours of the morning and in the evening. Except on Fridays cause I am currently playing Volleyball for the fall League at work. Games are every Friday and I usally dont get home till late.I Love to read Mystery, Thrillers, Horror, True Crime, and the like, so I can totally take that non-fiction task.
I hate Romance, and Chick Lit. I am not much of a fan of YA or Fantasy, but I read it if need be.
I am a mother of one 15 year old daughter who loves to read as much as I do. One 4 Month old Beagle who loves to smell books as as much as I do. One 7 month old German Shepherd who loves to chew on books as much as I do....(just kidding😜, he gets in super big trouble for that, and looks at me like he is innocent while he drops the book pages on his brother). And a husband of 16 years who think we are all crazy and just wants to watch the Game (which means more reading time for me!)
Hey guys! I'm currently in high school and taking two (!) english classes right now. So I'm just about always reading. I can usually do two books a week depending on my classes and my free time. Because of the additional English class, I'm usually reading about two or three books at a time for school. I've also been a captain for three other challenges, so everyone is in capable hands! I hope we have a great time over the next month getting ready for halloween!
So for organisation, we can work on the first part of the challenge the first week, the second part the second and third week, and then do the watts part the fourth week. Or we could skip around if that works better for everyone. If you're planning to read a book for a certain part, please post it asap so someone else doesn't try to read for that one too!
Hi, I'm Meira and I'm also currently in high school. I live in Israel (where Halloween doesn't exist) and I won't be on Friday nights to Saturday nights and also from the evening of the 3rd to the evening of the 4th, and the evning of the 11th to the evening of the 12th.I won't read romance or vampire books, but I will read anything else.
Also, I'd like to claim a spot in the university setting by reading Daddy-Long-Legs by Jean Webster.
I made a sort of spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1A...
I'd rather skip around.
Anyways, I'm excited to get to know you guys and I hope we have fun!
Morning, everyone!Looking over my reading list, I can cover science fiction, only the torso, and vampire easily.
Plus, I have a bunch that would work for wattage.
Team names????AndAnd
We cant be team 9, cause I am on another team challenge lsbeled team 9, and it will get super confusing....
°Bolts & Books
°“It’s pronounced ‘Fronkensteen"
°Abby Someone...Abby Normal
°What Hump?
°Frau Blücher
The first one is great but I think the third is my favorite. I just watched that movie earlier today! When you start reading a book, make sure you add it to the spreadsheet which Meira so kindly made for us.
Meira (readingbooksinisrael) wrote: "I like the first one(By the way, where is Claire?)"
I just sent her a pm
I'm ok with any of those names hahahaI have a question... how do I know if a book counts for romance? it needs to be a mpg?
Sorry, I never noticed the teams were formed. Sorry and thx for letting me know.I’m Claire from Belgium. I love to read, but mostley fantasy, thrillers, classic and contemporary . I’m ready for this task (I hope:-))

Are we going to have tracking somewhere, as I am not really sure what everyone is reading.I read quite a bit, and just want to make sure I am not working on something someone else is working on.
I am currently working on the Non-Fiction one, I just picked it up last night. However I do listen to audio while I am at work, The one I currently am listening to will only work for the 100 watts part
I will make a post in here tracking what every has claimed/read.I do suggest that even if someone has claimed a category, more than one can. The first to complete it would get the category. The other(s) would count toward watts.

Yeah, in my tracking post, I used the wrong category for yours. It's fixed now. I just went through all posts and matched with the spreadsheet to update it.
