Ok...Aspen and Lucy. Did anyone see that coming?

Ok, so I could totally tell that Lucy had a crush on him, but then at the end there when they started kissing I was all like, "When since has this been happening?!?!?!?" So I went back and looked for hints and I realized they were there all along. Like the fact that Aspen was the one who suggested Lucy being the maid to come along to America's house, and how devastated Lucy was when she figured out Aspen and America had been in a relationship. Did anyone see these hints before reading the end of the book?

Yes. It was pretty obious from The Elite on that at least one of America's maids had a thing for Aspen, and vice versa.

I never really thought of them ending together :O But, thanks to that tho :)

nao, fiquei chocada quando o aspen falou

Yes, I saw it. Her reaction when she came, that unspoken fight between Anne and Lucy that seemed big till it was never mentioned again. The blushes and her reaction to America being his ex girlfriend. ( I get Lucy, America can't have all the guys) And when Aspen (anyone think that sounds like a medicine) tried to tell America he loved someone else. (He shouldn't have cared what America thought, she was already with Maxon). So yeah I knew.

Actually thinking about all the times he was trying to talk to her about their relationship it hit me: HE WAS TRYING TO BREAK UP WITH AMERICA SO HE COULD BE WITH LUCY!

No, I did not see it coming. I was like what Aspen and Lucy.

Uhhh, kinda, not really though

I kind of saw it coming when Aspen was acting kind of distant and stuff, but I missed the clues about it being Lucy

Yeah. I have thought of it. It's okay.

No, I totally didn`t,It was a huge surprise for me.
And after Aspen and Lucy kissed I was, Oh! that`s whay Lucy was so sad when she found out about Aspen and America relationship.

Yeah! I did! I think that was a perfect ending, and the time Aspen said he is not in love with America anymore?
I rejoice!

The Epilogue? That was flawless! :D I'm just feel contented and happy about the ending :)

*DAN WELLS PARTIALS SPOILER*
So it's pretty like the Partials series finale where Kira chooses Samm, while Marcus takes some random girl and loves her to death...it's a pathetic choice on what to do with the 3rd wheel, but at least America didn't choose Aspen

not really, but I'm happy that America can be with Maxon now without loving Aspen too

I kind of saw it when he kept talking about Lucy when America brought up Anne so he could go out with her.

I saw it comming in The One and picked up on the hints, but didn't pick up on it in the other two books. It makes sense and make me feel better for Aspen. I always feel sorry for the left out angle in love triangles, now I don't have to!

Yeah, I saw it coming in The Elite :)

I saw it coming from Lucy, I actually never thought Aspen would love her. But I'm glad, they deserve it.

I saw that coming in Elite. It wasn't a big surprise for me.

Yeah, i guess so

Totally saw that coming, was pissed when Mer didn't let aspen finish, and when Aspen didn't even bother to finish

I did not see that coming!!! or well maybe a bit but i thought he would end up alone! Yeah, i know cruel right, anyways i would never have guessed Lucy liked Aspen i mean she was so withdrawn, but Aspen maybe i mean there were some small things.......
BUT still aspen and Lucy! but i totally think they deserved it. Besides i was Maxon all the way:)

YES i predicted it!!!! And im happy!

I didn't really see any hints other than the ones you mentioned, but I was discussing The One in another topic: Prince Maxon or Aspen. I always thought the series had to end with Maxon and America, then Aspen and Lucy. Someone suggested it and I thought it was perfect. I was so happy how the series ended.
