"So, in the mean time, what should we do?" Adam asked her. "Should we, like check over our things, or what?"
Adam squeezes her hand back a little, careful not to hurt her. "I wonder if you can figure it out." He said smiling.
((like relationship. Like Percabeth type thing.))Adam looked into her eyes. "So, can you figure out this puzzle?" He asked her.
Adam smiled. "I think we should help Aleka set up." he said, keeping her hand in his and turning toward Aleka.
"I guess not." Adam said smiling. " Maybe we could go collect some more firewood?" He asked her, not wanting to do anything without her.
"Then I guess we should go get some." Adam said smiling as he and Alexia started walking away to go and get some.
Adam looked around to see any wood that would last a long time in the fire that night. He spots a small tree of the perfect kind of wood that has fallen over, but has not rotted. "Over there." he said pointing to it. "That's perfect." He started walking toward it.
Adam looked around, his free hand on his sword. "I don't know." He said, not taking his hand from hers.
Adam looked around one last time. "Yeah. Maybe we should just do that." He wanted to get out of there as soon as he could.
Adam reluctantly let go of her hand and picked up one end of the tree. He started to drag it away, feeling like he was being watched by unseen eyes.
Adam looked over at her. He wanted to just go back to camp with just her hand in his instead of this tree, but he knew that they needed firewood anyway, so he tried to get out of there as soon as they could.
"Um." he looked at Alexia, unsure if he should say it. "Strange things back there." He said putting down the tree and pointing to where they just came from.
"Yeah," Adam agreed. "If one of us goes, then all of us go, and not too far away from camp either." He tells them. He didn't want anything to happen to anyone.
Adam dragged the tree a little ways away, so he didn't hit anyone and started chopping it. With the pieces he was done with, he threw them into a pile closer to the camp.
"Well, I try to play guitar, keyword there being try." He laughs. He wasn't very good, but he tries anyway. "What about you?" He asked her, chopping another piece of wood.
((It's alright))"Well, I never said that I was talented." He corrects her. He finishes chopping the tree and puts down the axe.
"If I had my guitar, then I would do that now." He says sitting next to her and taking her hand.((Thanks! you too!))
Adam took the burger and took a bite out of it. "Not bad." He smiled "But it needs ketchup." He laughed.
Adam finished his burger before Aleka could get any ketchup. "Don't worry about it for me. I'm done." He said smiling.
"I'll pass on the burger, but bring on the marshmallows!" He said pulling out his sword to use as a marshmallow roaster stick.
Adam looked at the roasting stick, then back at his sword. He decided that the roasting stick would be easier and put his sword away. "Thanks." He said taking the roasting stick and putting the marshmallow on it. He stuck it over the fire, rotating it.
Adam took the roaster from Alexia. "I got this." He said. He brought the marshmallow up to his mouth and blew on it in one quick breath. The fire was quickly extinguished. "Here you go." He said giving it back to Alexia.
Adam purposely burned his marshmallow and peeled off the burned part, eating it and stuck the marshmallow back into the fire, repeating the process.
Adam looked at Alexia, who was looking at the stars. He looked at the stars with her, looking for constellations. "If you girls want, you can go to sleep while I stay up and take the first watch."
"Alright, sounds good." He says nodding. "And if there's anything that happens, I'll wake you guys." He tells them, taking out his sword. "Oh, and leave the marshmallows." he jokes.
((Lol what a coincidence! Goodnight!))Adam sat back down next to the fire, looking around, trying to see if there were any threats beyond the light of the fire. He still felt a little freaked out by what happened earlier, feeling unseen eyes watching him, but he pushed the feeling aside.
Adam watched the fire burn. He added a few pieces of wood to the fire and watched them burn. He looked back up at the stars, his sword in hand.
Adam looked back down into the fire. He swore he heard a twig break, but decided that it must have been the fire. He takes his sword and puts it into the fire. He watches the blade turn a glowing orange.
Adam heard Alexia scream. He jumped to his feet and slashed open the tent. He saw the wolf-like creature and struck at it with his still glowing sword.
Adam rushed forward, more concerned with helping Alexia than his own safety. He started swinging blindly at the creature, unsure if he was even hitting it or not.
"We were attacked." Adam said. He looked at Alexia. "Are you alright?" He asks. He knew a little about first aid.
"Well, it looked a little bit like a wolf." Adam explained, never taking his eyes from Alexia. He was very concerned about everything at the moment, from the broken tent, to the scratches on Alexia.
Adam looked at Alexia. "Maybe you should sit down." He said to her. "We can at least take care of the cuts."
Adam stood behind her and put his hands on her shoulders. "So, Aleka, what do you think?" He asked, referring to the cuts.
"Alright then." Adam said moving in front of Alexia. "You guys get some rest, while I finish my watch." He said going the entrance of the tent.
