It was not the best book in the series so far but still enjoyable. I am glad I am reading the series in order - the characters grow on you:)

That they do, Phrynne. I like Hugh Parmer and hope we see more of him.

One thing that just popped in my head. I don’t think Krueger liked Jo. He put her in an affair with a murderer, had her break up her family, got her raped and finally killed her off. He put her through the ringer.

Put like that I have to agree!!!! Even Cork's affair was only supposed to have happened because Jo did it first.

When you put it like that Jonetta it does sound very true that Jo was always going to end up dead at some point. :(
