La Pradera Park Book Club discussion

The book we'll be reading in October is Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer. It's been a while since we've read a non-fiction. There should be an interesting discussion.

One of our club members caught me before Church today to warn me that there were quite a few swear words in Into the Wild. Obviously, we should not read it.

Since there are only a few days until we meet, we don't really have time to read a whole book. It was suggested that maybe we could read a poem. I put 'poem' and 'Halloween' together and came up with Edgar Allan Poe's famous The Raven. I'll bring copies of the poem for us to look at.

I also found a great video of Christopher Lee reading it. Wouldn't be fun to follow along?
