Jess walked in the cafeteria, her SnapBack on her head like usual. She was wearing a hoodie and had the hood pulled over her SnapBack so her face would be more invisible, not like anyone would notice her but still, she thought it was better like thy. Her hands rested on the pockets of er hoodie as she slowly moved through the cafeteria, bored.

Danny grabbed his food.Grapes,water,and a tuna sandwich. This was what he had grown to like and eat every afternoon.He would sit in the far tables and eat, by himself.Since every girl he had tried to talk to him pushed him away and most of the guys were just jerks.He sat down smiling as he took a grape and bit it.

Jess didnt notice Danny and sat down on the other end of the table, not knowing someone else already was at the table. She got off her bag and put it on the seat next to her so she didnt have to bend down to grab her stuff. She put her hand in her bag and got out her headphones, she needed some music to ignore everyone around her.

Danny noticed a girl sit down at the table,right in front of him.He smiled but she seemed to be interested in only her music,so he didn't want to bother her.He went back to eating his grapes and looked down awkwardly.

Jess smiled as she listened to her music, looking at the table so no one would see. She softly hummed to herself before grabbing an apple out of her bag and took a bite. She then looked up to look around but saw a boy sitting there. Her eyes widened widely and a blush appeared on her face. She quickly stood up and ran off without her bag, also dropping her apple.

Danny looked up at girl as she looked at him like he was her worst nightmare and ran, leaving her stuff. He looked at her puzzled. He threw away his food without finishing and picked up her bag and an apple from the lunch lady as he ran after her, looking for her.

Jess kept running, pushing past people as she tred to get as far away as she could. Her steps echoed in the empty hallways as she just took a road that ended up at the other side of the cafeteria. She stopped as she reached that point and panted as she leaned against the wall.

Danny lost her in the crowd, he frowned, wondering whatbhe did to scare her so bad. He didn't even stare at her, he kept walking around sighing as he wondered what to do.

Jess sighed softly as she sat down, her back against the wall and he knees pulled to her chest, she wrapped her arms around her knees and rested her head in the small space that was inbetween her knees. Having no idea what to do Jess just sat there in silence, not even listening to music.

He looked after a while, asking a few people if they had seen a girl that matched the description: she had told them. She walked through a few hallway and ended up seeing her on the floor leaning back. he walked over very slowly. "Uhh here is your bag" he turned and left not wanting to scare her again.

Jess looked up as she heard a voice, then turned her gaze to her bag. 'did he really follow me just to return it...?' she asked herself in her thoughts. She slowly rose to her feet while picking up the bag, "uhm.... Thank you..." She said softly.

"No problem "He said said turning around to tell her as he kept walking. He smiled at the fact she did know how to speak. He walked to a vending machine to buy a water.
