I haven't read The City of Heavenly Fire yet. Is it good?

im reading it right now.. its amazing. ive just crossed halfway
soemone died.. someone very important. i cried. ALOT!!!! apparently CC said that 7 main charcters would die. and tessa and jem are in this book. magnus, jace, alec,Izzy, Simon clary, joclyn, sebastian, i dont want anyone of them to die

Ok. i have a question. Why does everyone seem to hate Clary, but no one hates Tessa?
