Thanks for the invite to this group, I'm notoriously bad at read-a-thons but I'm pretty behind on my reading challenge so I am hoping that this will motivate me to pick up! Either way I'm super excited to read & chat with everyone :)
Thanks for the add to the group! Never done a readathon before so very excited for this! Might actually make me read my arcs!!!
Thanks for the invitation! This will be my first read-a-thon so don't know what to expect.Joining :D
Im excited! Except for the week I am co-hosting borrowathon, I will be working on thinning out my bookshelves!

Ooh, this sounds good! Especially since I already bought 11 books this month (oops). I definitely won't be able to complete them all though, due to school, but I might try to do that last one for sure! :D
Thanks for letting me join this group! I never did a readathon, so I hope i do my best and follow up with you guys.. This is soo exciting!! 📖💙

We are super laid back and it'll be a fun time! I hope you enjoy :)
Megan wrote: "Megan wrote: "Im excited! Except for the week I am co-hosting borrowathon, I will be working on thinning out my bookshelves!"Oh wait, there's a library book challenge, yes!"
Yesssss We added that challenge in to make it easier for people doing both! So Excited you found it XD
I have decided to join! I am also participating in the House Cup Reading Challenge which crosses over with this one as it has already started and ends on the 12th of November. It was a bit of a challenge getting both Events challenges to fit the same books but I have done it.
I have a total of 10 books on my TBR for Read-A-Thin. 3 of which are audiobooks, so only 7 physical books.
I have a total of 19 possible reads for November in total with my TBR for the House Cup Reading Challenge.
This is going to be another crazy month!
Is it bad I want to try to find a book to fit each challenge? Hahaha! I definitely won't read 18 books in one month (it's never happened!) but hey, a girl can dream, right?Side note - this is going to be super fun! I missed out on August's so I can't wait for November to start! Yay!

I feel the same! It's always so much fun to PLAN the books, even if you only end up reading a few.
Looks fun. I already know I can't do all of them- I am too broke to afford getting books via subscription boxes. The rest look pretty do-able, though. Now I just have to try not to check out any new library books for a while, since my other goal for November is to decrease my stack of library books from 26(now) to under 10(by Nov30).1. Read a 2017 release -
2. Read a diverse book -
3. Read a book that is related to your favorite emoji-
4. Read a book with a fall themed cover-
5. Start and finish a series-
6. Read a book in 24 hours-
7. Read a new to you author-
8. Buddy read a book-
9. Read a horror/thriller-
10. Read a book outside of your favorite genre-
11. Read an eBook-
12. Listen to an audiobook of a book you own-
13. Read a book that counts toward another readathon-
14. Read a book that is due back to the library the soonest-
15. Read a book you ended up putting down previously-
17. Read a book you got for free (gift, ARC, giveaway, etc)-
18. Read 4 books (At least 8 challenges)-
:) I'm looking forward to the next round. I recently bought a lot of classics so I will see if they can be used for some of the challenges. With those and what I haven't finished this month I should have a good amount of reading material. lol I will be building my list soon.
I was wondering, #5: does it have to be the same series or is start a series and finish a(nother) series?
Rachelle wrote: "I’ve never done a read-a-thon either, so I’m really excited to be starting this one! 😁"Yay! I'm so glad you'll be joining us. It's going to be so much fun!
Littlebookterror wrote: "I was wondering, #5: does it have to be the same series or is start a series and finish a(nother) series?"It is start and finish the same series, so good ones for this would be duologies and trilogies
Kendra wrote: "Is it bad I want to try to find a book to fit each challenge? Hahaha! I definitely won't read 18 books in one month (it's never happened!) but hey, a girl can dream, right?Side note - this is goi..."
I do the same thing, I pick a book for each challenge and then end up reading the minimum because I just fail, but at least it gives us options to choose from!!
Chloe wrote: "Guys this is gonna be awesome! I plan to do a big chunk of these challenges, the only ones I know I won't do are the audiobook, library and subscription box ones because I don't use those methods o..."And that's ok that you can't do them all! We just wanted to make some easy challenges for other readathons we knew were going on that we knew about in case people wanted to participate in them all. I'm super glad you'll get to your unread owned books, that's our whole goal!!

I'm reading Ice Like Fire for mine purely because it has a tiny little scene that looks slightly autumnal on the cover, so you can really say that any book gives you fall vibes and use it honestly lol.
