I am beyond excited for this. Already updated my Elfster account. I might be too excited.

Early this month, I actually checked this group to see whether Heather had set up the 2017 event since I remember last year it was around October. I LOVE this event so much!!

The last two years whoever had me spoiled me rotten. I am still bragging about the books I got. The people in this group are so generous. I just hope the people I have gotten and will get feel the same about me!

Anyone looking around at the members and wondering who your elf will be? Like reading people's intros & stuff on what types of books they like, and I think to myself oh I'd be a good match with that person. And then wondering if I'll be matched-up with them. Anyhoo, I can't wait to pounce! ;)

Is anyone doing NaNoWriMo this year?

No (I'm not a writer.). One of my sisters is tho, it's her first time & she's super nervous. She won't even let me read her stuff or tell me her pen name. I'm like OMG! @.@
All I know is it's a contemporary romance with our ethnic heritage influences in it.

I am, but I'm probably not going to be able to finish. But then, I never do. I swore I wasn't going to do it this year since I've never once gotten to fifty thousand words, but somehow I found myself logging in just before midnight on November 1st anyway.

I haven't made much progress, but things have finally calmed down a bit in RL around here, so I'm hoping to get a couple hours in tonight and maybe be able to get somewhere by the end of the month. Maybe I'll shoot for twenty-five thousand.

I have never made it either. This is my fifth or sixth year. I've been doing it off and on since high school. I never get beyond the first week or 30K. I thought I was the only one who hasn't made it by this point!

So am I although I must say I hope this year my secret santa reveals themselves I am not good at guessing also I did a s.s. last year where the person didn't claim her gifts. I am thinking positive this year.

The Christmas in July exchange was my first one, and I got an awesome gift, but I never did find out who it was from.
