Part One (35%) - (view spoiler)[ WTF! I can't take all this up and down with Paige and Warden. Seriously. I almost threw the book across the room. I know, I know...if they were together the way I want it, it probably wouldn't be as satisfying and definitely not as dramatic. But seriously, just stay together already! (hide spoiler)]

Part Two (72%) - (view spoiler)[ Whew! That Paige has some guts. She knows that was a manipulation, but she went through with it anyway. Can't wait to find out why. I suppose they will take her right back to Archon where the core thingy is.

Will Nick and Zeke ever get back together? Even though we never really spent much time with them as a couple, I liked the idea of them. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 23 - (view spoiler)[ Ah Paige's plan starts to take shape. I don't think she will get her "wish" to not escape - where would the book go from there?

Something is up Jaxon's sleeve. He always has multiple irons in the fire. Could he be playing things from this side, only to turn again when it benefits him? (hide spoiler)]

Finished - First, I have to admit that I thought this was a trilogy and that I would have a happy ending at this point. Imagine my disappointment to find out that this is merely book 3 of 5!!!!!! Ugh! I can't handle it. I am not a patient person. (view spoiler)[ So, a few things have been resolved: we've defeated Sensishield for the time being, but Paige has gone from Public Enemy #1 to what's more than that? It also sounds like the Mime Order will continue while she is gone, and her people will be able to return from the tunnels periodically. Jaxon will no doubt still be hunting them.

But lots is still unresolved: Nick and Zeke (we don't even know where Zeke is), we still don't know what the Emites are or how they are going to defeat them completely. Heck, I was fully expecting them to use the Emite blood to obscure their Auras in this book to beat Sensishield, but once that property was mentioned, no one mentioned it again. We also still have Nashira running around and about to invade more lands. I am still wondering if the Emites are tied to her presence more than the explanation given. It just seems weird that the new Shoels didn't seem to have an Emite problem until she wanted to open them in their countries. Too convenient.

I'm happy that Paige and Warden are at least escaping together. I might get my love scene eventually in book 4 or 5, if I can wait the 3 years until it is written. (I'm not upset (yes, I am)). (hide spoiler)]

Ooh just hit the 2 week mark! I started today.
Ch 1-3 (view spoiler)[ Why can't Paige just get with Warden? I want them to be together now, especially after all they went through. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 4-6 (view spoiler)[ I'm so happy she talked to Warden and they kissed! I love them together so much (hide spoiler)]

Ch 7-9 (view spoiler)[ It sucks that everyone hates Paige as the leader. I hope people realize how much she's doing for them and that Hector and the other leaders were lying to them.

Ch 10-12 (view spoiler)[ I'm a bit bored, I need some action! It seems like a lot of this so far is politics and figuring out plans for things. The ending of chapter 12 made me think something exciting is coming though (hide spoiler)]

Ch 13-19 (view spoiler)[ That sucks that Paige got that lady out of prison, then she goes rogue and kills the guard and blames it on Paige. Ugh, why does everyone hate her so much?
And now Paige's dad has been executed, good thing she has Warden to be by her side and not let her go for revenge. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 20-End (view spoiler)[ All the action was at the end again. It was rough seeing Paige captured, drugged, and tortured like that. And then her friend died to save her :(
I am glad she stopped the spirit powering the scanners and she and Warden get to go to Paris now. I'm looking forward to the next book! (hide spoiler)]
