I am trying to locate a book I meant to put on a to-read list, now can't remember the title.

It was fairly recent, last 10 years, I think last 5 years. Mystery, maybe some horror elements, maybe some scifi or fantasy element(although I don't think so). Takes place in Liverpool, maybe Birmingham. England for certain.

It involves body snatching, I believe for medical purposes. It was set in the 1800s.

Been browsing now for it awhile and about to give up.

That sounds familiar, but I can't place it either. The trouble is that I've read several novels featuring the resurrection men. I vaguely recall a mystery set in Scotland that deals with body snatchers (not a fantasy, though) and lots of these books set in London, of course.

Yes I saw those listed. It is not any of those. I seem to remember a NYTimes review but can't find it.
