Hi Martha, it's the 10th here already, and this is my next read, so I hope you don't mind if I'm starting early :)

Chapter 3: (view spoiler)[Am I right for thinking this a debut? If that's the case, then so far it's fine. The writing is engaging, but to be honest I'm getting tired of the story revolving around Dee. It's okay, talking about her, but it just feels like this is HER story, just narrated by her best friend.

Although the author mentioned a bit about Reagan's background, I still wanted more of it. (hide spoiler)]

Sure, go for it! I haven't received my copy yet. I'm hoping it'll get here tomorrow but the post is being a bit slow... :/

Chapter 14: My thoughts are so mixed right now! (view spoiler)[I mentioned earlier I wanted more of a glimpse of Reagan's life than Dee's and there I had it. Eventually I'm slowly starting to like the book... The lake and fest scene made me giddy and it was written wonderfully. But the slut shaming really just turned me off, when Reagan was searching for Matt's ex-girlfriends.

Also, I don't see a problem with a guy writing you a song, and getting mad over it. Or maybe it is, but I just didn't really sympathized with Reagan enough. And... what's with the, "most girls love it when I write them a song"? That actually made me laugh and my eye roll, hahaha. I don't know what to say or how to react. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 18: (view spoiler)[Okay, I'm going to admit it. I am somehow GLAD that I didn't DNF this. This is going all well than I expected. The author clearly has potential. Though I wouldn't say that I'm a huge fan of this book right now, I think she has potential. Might take on a look out for her future books, though. And I gotta say, I did get giddy with the Matt-Reagan scenes. I'm curious how this goes out to the public, though. And I have a bad feeling when Corrine comes... (hide spoiler)]

Done. I liked it but I couldn't stand the main character's judgmental ness and slut-shaming.

Also, the ending (view spoiler)[was disappointing. I thought it was too quick to be resolved after all the drama. We don't even know about Jimmy, for sure, eh. (hide spoiler)]

23% - I'm not sure how I feel about the main character right now. She's not the sort of narrator that I can relate too. The writing is very beautiful though. And I really like Dee at the moment - routing for her, more than Reagan.

Yeah, I liked Dee more than Reagan, in the end. She's like this good girl with big dreams, ambitions and a lot of goals in life. Not that Reagan isn't. It's just that I could relate with her more.

Chapter 6 - OMG Reagen is such a cow! She's calling everyone "skanks" and "bitches" when she knows zero about them. What the heck? From the sound of it, she doesn't get much better either!

I KNOW!!! I hated the slut-shaming! She didn't even get the chance to get to know them first. So judgmental.

I can't stand things like that >:(

I feel the same! Sometimes I like Matt... and sometimes he just annoys me! I think the writing is so nice... but Reagan's attitude just totally puts me off.

You're almost done now, yay! Well, Reagan will put you even more off when you reach the conflict of the story. ESPECIALLY.

ch 18 - GO DEE! Tell Reagen off!

Finished - SO disappointing that we had judgmental Reagan as a main character. The story could have been good without her! Haha!
