Hi there. I was looking for a new book club where I could be "heard." This looks perfect! I loved Lord of the Rings as well. I'm not sure how many times I've read (and listened to) the series. I enjoyed the 3 movies too -- the Hobbit movie not so much. I'm going through the Dark Tower (Stephen King) for the 3rd or 4th time. There so much more to these books when you go back. I love them more each time. Any suggestions for a new series? My tastes are pretty eclectic.

My favorite series is Lord of the Rings. I'm also a big fan of Ranger's Apprentice and the Brotherband Chronicles. I read tons of Louis L'Amour, Georgette Heyer (Regency Romance novels), random (decent) chick lit and pretty much any fairytale re-telling I can get my hands on.

My favorite is Healer's Apprentice, least favorite was probably Princess Spy. I've not read the Merchant's Daughter, A Noble Servant or The Golden Braid. Oh, or The Silent Songbird either.

Yeah, a Medieval Fairytales or something like that. The Huntress of Thornbeck Forest, The Beautiful Pretender and The Noble Servant are in that series.

I've not read any of the Medieval Fairytale series, so I don't know!

Ooh, I absolutely love Melanie Dickerson’s books! I have read all three in the Hagenheim series. I personally really enjoyed The Noble Servant because the MC in it was also in The Beautiful Pretender. XD

Who is your favorite character?

Ah! Qibli!! Love him. I've never been able to figure out who my favorite is. Character wise, I'm a lot like Clay.

Some of my favorite series include Gallagher Girls, Hunger Games, Storm Siren, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and I am very impatiently awaiting the third book in Sara Ella's Unblemished series. I also like Lord of the Rings and... so many books to choose from...

But really I love any book by Ally Carter or Janette Rallison. Also Jen Turano and Kristi Ann Hunter are my favorite historical authors.

My favorite poem is The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe though I also like The Bells by the same author, and I like Sherlock Holmes and several short stories by O'Henry.
