A hundred years ago, Astarial was far from the peaceful land most people know it is today. Wars were constant and battles over pointless matters were rapid. Why were these events so frequent, you may ask? Well it began with the King at the time, King Theo Silver. It was because of him all these things were happening. Some say that he tried to abolish the way of life that people have known for their whole life. Destroy the system of judging whether he or she should be king or queen based on their shapeshifting skills or other magical abilities. People liked the old life, the way things were, and they didn't want to change it one bit. Now that was one rumor of why the people were fighting their king at the time. Another says that he actually wanted to get rid of the system because he wanted his family to be the only heirs to the throne of Astarial. Choose which one you'd like you believe, but both have their truths. The wars lasted for several more years and when they had finally came to an end, the Star Children, one of the many groups who had tried to overthrow the king, claimed that in a hundred years time, the current kings and queens will meet their downfall. Well, here we are a hundred years later, and trouble has arisen for our current leaders.

Present

Princes Peter and Alexei, and Princess Vika, all rule alongside each other. Now how can this be, some will ask. Let's just put it this way, these children were triplets when they had entered the contest and had managed to surpass their elders and peers and became the rulers of Astarial at the ages of fourteen. Three years have gone past and revolts have arisen, even if they have been quiet, ready to strike at any moment.
