Another day, Danielle had woken up and attended to business not bothering anyone or getting in someones way. Only doing a few things here and there along with Greta but sadly she had to day goodbye to go and do the princess' laundry. Quite the high pile as well. Grabbing all of her clothes, she dumped the piles of dresses into the wooden bucket and made her way throughout the halls wobbling as she went. While Dani may have telekinesis, she didn't practice it much and tried her best to doing things with her hands. It made her very fit and strong. So she did indeed have her hands full. Though the real trouble came as she arrived at the stairs. Just her luck, a pair of undergarments fell under her flat as Danielle stepped forward and slipped on the stairs and flew into the air along with the princess' clothing.
((no no, it's okay))Danny woke in his messy bed, the sheets tossed around. He grumbled it was not a good start to the day. He begrudgingly folded his sheets, then teleported to the bathroom and did his business before getting dressed. He looked at himself one final time in the mirror before teleporting out the door, too lazy to do anything else. He had about an hour or two to roam the halls and eat breakfast before he had to manage the mandatory guard training. He grumbled as he roamed the hallways, looking for a nice place to settle down before leaving to grab breakfast at the last possible minute. He remembered the stairway that was usually peaceful and headed there, teleporting since he was being lazy. When he arrived, he noticed a girl - a maid probably, her dress did give it away - tripping and he reached out, trying to catch her as he tried to catch the clothes with his arms, neck and legs.
As Danielle had fallen, she remembered feeling small. Like she wanted to curl up and just disappear... So, that's exactly what she did. Before she knew it, Dani had turned into a small grey mouse, on top of multiple articles of clothing. Though as soon as she'd wanted to start speaking again, bit by bit, Danielle had started to turn human. Still, by then she'd gone on and on about how sorry she was and never wabted to disrespect a knight. "-And I can't believe I've been so irresponsible and I ruined your breakfast, I haven't completed my job, and all I've done was cause your trouble I'm rambling I know but I have no other way to express how sorry I am, I am so so so so so so sorry!" Immediately grabbing the pair of undergarments on his face she gathered all of Princess Vika's clothing and continued to pile them into the wooden bucket. "Please forgive me sir, I had no intentions to ruin your breakfast." Oh how absolutely embarrassing! She must've been beet red! Never once had she transformed in front of someone before, and never once had she expected it to be over something so unimportant. Though when would mice be important huh?
Danny smiled, chuckling softly. "It's fine." He remembered to keep his guard up, but she was just so...vulnerable. His smile faded and his face turned cold again. "Just doing my occupation, ma'am." He gave a slight bow and started to head up the stairs. A realization that she could turn into a mouse, just like he, struck him. Just before he tripped on a pair of undergarments, quickly teleporting to the bottom of the stairs before he could hurt himself. "Now that was risky." He said in a monotone voice, handing her the undergarments. "I apologize for making them dirty." He replied, gaze following down to the wooden bucket that had all of the clothes in it.
Quickly taking the clothing, Danielle stopped rambling and took all of the princess' dresses and let out a sigh of relief, not even knowing she was holding one in. Though Dani had to admit she was a bit startled that he's teleported so quickly. Sighing she grabbed the dress that had landed in his food and in a few minutes found another maid to take care of the washing. Quickly grabbing she plate, Danielle ran after the guard desperate to make it up to him. After all, breakfast is the most important mean of the day. Picking up her long skirt, she ran after him in the halls her black flats making a 'click-clack' noise as well. "May I at least make you another meal? It's my fault you've dropped the first one." She added sheepishly. It had taken shy Dani a lot of courage to muster up, but even if he thought ir was fine she had her own moral code. "If not for you, than for myself? I feel awful."
Danny loved doing things himself, but since this maid was asking so nicely, he saw no need to decline such an offer. After all, he had been thinking about eating a jam pastry instead of the chocolate danish that he had picked up that the other maid was now cleaning off one of the princess' dresses. "Another meal would be fine." He forced a small smile to show her his gratitude. "A jam pastry or such should be fine." He said. "How long will it take you? I have about an hour or so until guard training starts and I'd like to be early so that the guards will respect me." He didn't mean to say it in a rude tone but it did come out sounding quite abrasive.
So very greateful that the guard had accepted her offer, Danielle gave a small but polite smile. Though, she couldn't believe that she'd actually done that. Usually Dani was so shy around others that she could barely muster a sentence without spewing out several others. "It w-won't take me long... I can do it under fifteen minutes. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience I have caused." She said once.more, thinking he was mad at her by his stern voice. Though being timid didn't help at all with these situations.
"It's fine." Danny replied, thinking about just making a run for it. It was about twenty minutes from the start of training. "And I don't think you caused any problems that I wouldn't have caused myself." He said as a way to reassure her. He really didn't have time for setbacks like this. Especially when he was rushing to his next point. He looked down at his shoes, thinking about what to do next as he waited for her to go and retrieve a pastry for him.
Rushing back down the stairs, she began to dash towards the kitchen as if her life depended on it. That's merely the kind of person Dani was. Especially to others who had just saved her life. In seven minutes and fourty-one seconds, Danielle had come back with a plate that carried very scrumptious contents. A toasted bagel with white honey freshly made, two peices of bacon, along with some eggs and a glass of milk. "H-here you are. I apologize for taking so long. A-and for ruining your breakfast. I s-sincerely hope you are satisfied." She let out a bit of a nervous chuckle before looking down at her shoes that had suddenly become interesting.
Danny smiled at the nervousness of the girl. It was obvious that she was terrified of messing up and terrified of not completing her task well. He took a bit of the bagel and smiled wistfully. It had been a long time since he'd had a bagel that tasted this good. "You don't have to be nervous, it's delicious." He gave a large smile. Hopefully, that would make her more confident. He suddenly remembered the training sessions and looked up at the clock. Phew, just about 15 minutes left before he had to arrive.
