Hey guys!!! I’m so sorry I’ve been kinda inactive, just trying to get into the swing of things!! However November is just around the corner and I can’t wait to choose a new book for this month! Any suggestions?

What about that book we were considering last month? I can’t remember the name of it...

Language of Thorns?

I'm not sure about any diverse books being released, but I'll look into it. If anything, I'm sure we can choose a book that has been released in previous months :)

Also, even if the release isn't known for its diversity, we should still look into it, since 'There's Someone Inside Your House' had so much diversity (which was AWESOME!!) even though it wasn't stressed in its description. I love that so many books are featuring so many races and sexualities!!

I'm up for anything to be honest 😊 Language of Thorns sounds amazing! And I know how much credit Liv loved Leigh Bardugo

So I looked up some new releases, and Tahereh Mafi’s new book, Whichwood, is coming out this month and I know it’s about a Persian girl who deals with dead bodies lol, which I think is pretty diverse haha. And there’s also Renegades by Marissa Meyer to consider

Can Whichwood be read as a standalone or is it a sequel? But I agree it does sound like an excellently diverse read and unlike anything I've looked into before! I didn't even realise Marissa Meyer had a new book coming out! Oh my gosh!

Which wood says it's a companion... I'm not sure if you can just read it... but both books sound good! Also completely off topic but wow! Has anyone got the Goodreads mobile app it's just updated and I love the new search page!! Hahah

I think which wood can be read as a stand-alone... And Nicole I’ve been using the app but I haven’t updated it yet!! What’s different about the search page? Haha!

Okay... either sound good to me then 😊 I love The Lunar Chronicles and own the Shatter Me series but haven't read them... it's got genres and the best YA books of the year and things like that so it's just easier to search for new books I guess 😂🙈

Ohh I’ve definitely got to update it then lol!! I’m good with either one as well, but probably leaning more towards Whichwood since I LOVE the Shatter Me trilogy. What do you guys think? When we have more members, we’ll be able to put up a poll so everyone can decide :)

I did some research on it, and I do think you can read it without reading anything else set in the Grishaverse :)

Has everyone voted?

Looks like, but Whichwood and Language of Thorns are tied :/ Should we wait for someone to break it? I invited everyone in the group to vote and if you guys know a friend who would like to vote, invite them !!! All are welcome :)

Maybe just randomly choose one like out of a hat or do a random generator online, only because it's getting later in November and we could be waiting for ages, unless anyone does have a friend who can vote?

Someone else has voted, should we close the poll?
