After walking for a little bit Demetria was able to find time square. From here she thankfully knew how to get home. She still felt bad though about what happened earlier. She had to find a way to say thank you but she just didn't know how. She tried to think about why someone would steal her necklace. A few reasons popped into her head but she just wasn't sure if any of them were right or even applied to this situation. She still had a lot to learn about those who lived a different life then her.
Aster was heading back home. While heading back home, she needed to cross the town square. At some point, she spotted something weird and fascinating in a shop and just stood there, watching that thing with wide eyes. She wondered if she would be able to manage something for her family. Oh, how she wished she hadn't given the necklace back but she couldn't stand the thought of someone crying because of her.
Demetria continued walking though town square when she remembered why she came in the first place. One of the maid's birthdays was coming up and she wanted to get the maid a present. Although most members of nobility hardly got to know the staff that worked at their home, for the longest time they were the only ones available to talk to. Now she was very close friends with all of them. She noticed a row of shops and decided that that would be the perfect place to start looking for the perfect gift.
After watching the thing for a long time, Aster decided to head home. It was getting late and she didn't wanted to make her parents worry. There was a lot of work to do like cleaning and helping her mum to cook. Her father would be able to bring fish for them from the docks so at least the dinner would be good.
Demetria continued walking when she noticed a familiar face a couple of shops ahead of her. She immediately knew who she was. She was the girl from earlier. This was her chance to say thank you for returning her necklace. The only problem was she still couldn't think of anything that someone who wasn't a member of nobility might want as a thank you gift.
Aster pulled her hood down a bit and started walking towards the street which led to her house. It was almost late and she knew if she was quick enough, she would be able to reach home and help her mom wash.
Demetria noticed that the girl was leaving. She had to do something. She knew that she couldn't walk through the crowds of people in time to catch her. Thankfully an idea quickly popped into her head. She turned into a snowy owl and flew over the crowd. She still didn't know how she could say thank you.
As Aster walked she heard the sound of flapping of wings near her. She looked above to check what it was and spotted a white owl. "Hey, Birdie."she smirked and with a sigh, just walked towards her house.
Demetria had a brown bag in her beak as she flew down towards Aster. She finally had an idea. She flew in front of the girl and dropped the back in front of her foot before flying towards a tree. She landed on one of the branches and watched the girl, hoping that her plan would work.
Aster frowned when the owl dropped some sort of a bag in front of her foot. She looked up as the bird flew away in the distance. Bending down, she picked it up. She wondered what was inside. Hopefully it wouldn't be a prank.
Demetria knew what was inside the bag. Inside the bag was a couple of coins as well as a note. She hoped that her idea would work. She continued to watch from her spot in the tree.
After Aster picked up the bag, she opened it. Her eyes widened when she found some coins and note as well. She grinned and looked around. How did this happen? Seeing the coins made her so happy that she decided to visit the bakery on her way home. She then opened the note, ready to read what was written on it.
The note didn't say much. Just two simple words. Thank you.
Demetria continued to watch from her spot on the branch. She was nervous yet excited as she watched the girl pick the bag up off of the ground. She was anticipating her reaction and was relieved when she noticed a grin on the girl's face as she looked around.

Aster was a bit confused when she read those two words. Suddenly something clicked in her mind. Was it...was it that girl? Did she know she had stolen the necklace at first? She looked around, hoping to find but she was not around.

Demetria continued to watch from her spot on the tree when she remembered that she needed to be home soon. She was about to fly away when something stopped her.
Aster smiled to herself. She felt happy. Oh well, she could just go home now and buy something for her parents. Soon she started to head home, with the money.
Demetria watched as the girl walked away. She looked happy which made Demetria happy. She hoped that she would see the girl again as she flew off of the branch, shapeshifted back into her usual self and started to walk home.
