By the time they had entered town, Alexei was already in his human form and ran up to Aster and his horse. "So, is there anything you like in the pub?" He asked casually as he slowed his horse and swiftly took the reins from her. Leading his horse towards the pub, he pulled on the tip of his hood, which was attached to his cloak, several times before being satisfied that it covered half of his face. If anything, most people might assume him to be her servant. What with his clad of brown and black. As the clops of his horse echoed down the empty street, Alexei waited patiently for her answer.

Once they reached the pub, Aster got down from the horse and handed the reins to Alexei so he could keep it in the stable. "Well....not much. Maybe some bread and soup."she said with a shrug. She never had tried to eat those dishes on meat here as they were something she couldn't afford. She watched him pull his hood down and frowned. Why was he doing that? She did the same thing as well and pulled her hood down. Moving a bit close, she looked around. "Are we supposed to be hiding our faces?"she asked with curiosity in her voice.

"All right," Alexei said, giving a simple nod. "Why don't you order anything you'd like and then I'll follow after you as soon as I put this little guy away." Leading his horse to the nearby stable, Alexei tried not to adjust his hood any further for that would draw attention and Alexei wanted anything but. When Asteria suddenly inched closer to him, he gave a casual glance to her and answered her question. "I am, but you shouldn't. Two hooded figures would look rather suspicious, wouldn't it? But one, now that would make it seem like you are my mistress." He smirked at her. "Now please, do take your hood off so we can resume our business without getting mugged."

Aster nodded, liking the idea. "Sure thing. I will make sure to order the most expensive stuff here."she teased and winked at him as they made their way near the entrance. She waited for him till he came back and when she got inside, she sighed and looked around. The pub, just as always, was filled with interesting people and the smell of food wafted around. She looked at him again after what he said next and actually laughed lightly, pulling her hood off. "What an irony! You a prince but now I am your mistress."she whispered into his ear and started to walk towards the counter.

"Don't. . ." Alexei was about to say then realized she was only joking and relaxed a bit. Sure, he may be a prince, but he had a very small amount of money at the moment. He eventually found a stable nearby for his stead and paid the caretaker. Eventually, he followed up right behind Asteria. She whispered in his ear and his reply was, "Yes. Just enjoy it while it lasts," he whispered back, keeping in step with her. "This won't happen all the time, I can assure you of that."

Aster looked at Alexei with an amused expression. "I was just joking, my Prince."she said with a smirk. She rolled her eyes and turned to face him, a pout on her face before she laughed a little. "Oh, man! That's sad. I would have enjoyed being the mistress of a Prince."she teased again before heading for the counter. She looked at the man behind the counter and offered him a faint smile. "Ummm...two bowls of warm chicken soup with bread...and some beer please."she ordered, hoping the food wouldn't be too expensive for them.

"Trust me, you wouldn't want to. I'll probably just run away before you could Boss me around," Alexei said to her, keeping his hood on as he slipped into one of the stools by the counter. He admired that she was trying to keep it inexpensive. At least she was being considerate. "Mmmm. I haven't had a bowl of soup in ages! Let's hope that they taste delicious here."

"Oh, don't worry! I am not that bossy. I am pretty self sufficient."Aster said with a smirk. She watched him sit on a stool and after she was done ordering, she sat opposite him. She was really hungry and she couldn't wait to dig in! "I guess it would be delicious here but it won't be as good as it is in the palace....you know."she teased and chuckled.
