I like to read the book first and imagine the characters before I see the movie, because sometimes the movie is a disappointment to my imagination. :)
In addition, the book is always better than the movie. the movie can never tell the story as the book can.

True, for instant, untill this very day I've never had an intention to read Harry Potter, although it's a very great story, it's just that I'm not interested because I've watched the movie many times on many channels, I even had it memorized.

Dana (wishiwasapoem) | 2 comments I like reading the books first, because the books are always better than the movies and it have more details. When I watch the movie; after reading the book, I feel that I understand and I know what's happening in the main character's mind. Like what happened with myself during watching The Hunger Games: Catching Fire movie. I felt that I understood what was happening especially when they cut lots of important scenes-- that the movie should've been better with them!
