Hey guys,

Sorry for the long absence!! Let's get back on track for August and start nominating!!

Each person can nominate TWO books and second TWO books. there is a more detailed list of hos the rules work in another thread if you want to check them out.

So we will have read by the start of August:

The Slynx- Russian
Snow Country- Japanese
Hunger - Norwegian
The Colonel - Iranian
Half of a Yellow Sun - Nigerian.
The House of the Spirits - Chilean
In the Shadow of the Banyan - Cambodian

We're trying not to repeat countries so please try to nominate books from countries that we have not read! :)

I'm going to start my nominating two novels from countries that I have been hoping we'd read.

Firstly I'd like to nominate an Indian Novel The Space Between Us as it sounds like such a lovely story and one I've had on my to read list for a long time now.

Secondly I'd like to nominate a Taiwanese novel The Man with the Compound Eyes - this is a newish release that I'm desperate to read.
