Bernard Capes needs more love. Rather prolific author, one that received fair share of accolades during his life, but one that is now all but completely forgotten outside of a couple of somewhat more regularly reprinted stories. His supernatural/horror fiction can be genuinely great. I'd recommend "The Moon Stricken" and "An Eddy On The Floor", both stories can be found here: https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/14045 "The Moon Stricken" is really excellent weird tale, early on it appears to be something akin to Blackwood's nature mysticism, only it takes a detour and ends in this really weird and disturbing territory Second one is a most excellent psychological ghost story dealing with guilt and revenge..
